Calum's P.O.V
I'm standing behind a cafe where i told y/n to meet me. It was raining but i have to see her.
We've been friends for five years now and I started to develop feelings for her. I wanted to confess my feelings to her. You never know when she might feel the same.
She finally came, a huge smile visible on her face.
"Nice weather eh?" Y/n laughed.
"Haha, yeah!"
There was an awkward chuckle and awkward tension was rising.
"Ummm....y/n?" I asked as i tugged at the roots of my hair nervously.
"Yes?"
"Will you be mad if i tell you this?"
"Tell me what Calum?" She showed me a smile.
This can either ruin our relationship or worse.
"Ikindofhavefeelingsforyou" i said as fast as i could.
"Um sorry, can you please say it again, i didn't quite get that."
I took a deep breath. Here goes our friendship.
" okay... So.... Ummmm.... I kind... Of have feelings for you... For a very long time, ever since we became friends and I didn't want to tell you because, I didn't want to ruin our friendship..." It was finally out. I told her. This can go either way. There was complete silence at first until she spoke.
"Oh Calum... I also had feelings for you before but i lost those feelings when you started to play with other girls.... I feel a weak connection between us" She said
"What do you mean weak connection y/n?" I don't reqlly understand what she meant by weak connection.
"Calum, what do you do to a cellphone with weak connection?" She asked, but there was complete silence. " You play games with it since there's no connection. I'm so sorry Calum I just don't wanna get hurt. And lose our friendship." She said as a tear rolled down on both of our faces.
"Its okay y/n... I respect your opinion. I just really needed to get that out of me. So what do you say friends?" I said as i tried to smile to try and stop her from crying.
"No..." She said and i began to cry even more but she was smiling and I don't know why. "....I don't want us to be just friends, i want us to be best friends"
I stopped crying and my frown turned into a smile. I hugged her tightly and I'm happy even though she didn't have the same feelings for me, we still are friends.
"Thanks Y/n. I thought that our friendship has come to an end." I told her and i heard her laugh with my arms still around her waist and my fave at the crook of her neck giving her a tight hug.
"Our friendship will have no end Cal. I'm so sorry." She said and I can still here her sobbing
"Its really nothing y/n. We're still best friends just pretend none of this happened okay?" I pulled apart from the hug and wipe her tears.
"Okay" she hugged me again
