What is this?! An update?!
Hey guys! I know it's literally been years since I updated, but life just got so crazy and I'm not going to lie, Wattpad definitely moved to the back burner. But I'm back now and determined to finish! There aren't too many chapters left so you all will find out what happens soon enough!
To those of you who have made it this far, thank you! I know my writing was (to put it nicely) absolute garbage in the beginning but I like to think that I've gotten a little better.
I'm not going to guarantee weekly updates or anything, but I can definitely say with confidence that the next update will not be in two years.
I apologize for it taking so long but here without further ado, here you go!

Monday rolled around too quickly, bringing the weekend to a quick close. The week flew by in a whirlwind of homework, finals, work, and avoiding Luke. Before I knew it, I was sitting downstairs Friday morning eating breakfast and trying to come up with a new reason as to why I didn't need Luke to drive me to school when the doorbell rang.
'Strange,' I thought, looking at the clock on the oven. 'Mom already left and it's too early for Luke to be ready to go.'
Feeling confused, I got up and headed towards the door, trying to think of who it could be. I opened the door and immediately regretted not checking to see who it was first.
"H-hey Luke," I said nervously. He had an angry look on his face and his jaw clenched. Not saying anything, he walked past me into my house.
"Sure, come on in," I muttered sarcastically as I closed the door behind him. What gave him the right to just waltz right into my home?
I turned to see Luke staring at me with his arms crossed his chest, that angry look still on his face.
"Do you need something?" I asked, my annoyance starting to rise. "My ride is-"
"Who's your ride?" Luke cut in, narrowing his eyes at me.
"M-my mom," I stuttered, blurting the first thing that came to mind.
"Bullshit," he retorted. "Your mom is already gone. Her car isn't in the driveway."
"I-I meant Amel-"
"Yeah I texted both her and Whitney and they said you were getting a ride from your mom," he said angrily. "Why are you lying to me? Why have you been ignoring and avoiding me for the past month?"
"I haven't b-been avoiding you-" I tried to say but was interrupted again.
"There we go, another lie," he laughed humorlessly but there was nothing funny about it. "Is this because of the date? If I thought it would have bothered you so much I never would have asked."
"No, Luke, it's definitely not that," I quickly said. "It's really complicated."
"Well then explain!" He yelled. "I don't understand what the fuck is going on. One minute we're all getting along just fine and then suddenly you're avoiding Dalton, Tyler and I like we're the fucking plague!"
"Luke, please," I pleaded, tears starting to gather in my eyes. "You have to believe me, I want to tell you and explain everything but I can't."
"Can't or won't?" he said bitterly. "I'm just trying to understand how everything was going great and then suddenly you do a one-eighty and can't stand to be in our presence."
"It's not like that," I said, a tear rolling down my cheek.
"Does it have to do with Mackenzie?" Luke asked, staring down at me. I looked up and could see mixed emotions in his eyes. The biggest one was how betrayed he looked.
