The Beginning of the End

The girl

I switch my gaze between the girl and Sophia. I feel like stabbing the girl and running away, but I could never do that unless i absolutely had to.

"I had it I didnt need someone else to do it for me" I growl.

She just laughs and looks at me with her hands in her sweatshirt pockets.

"It really didnt look like it, Wheres your weapon?" She asks.

I look around.

"I dont have one but i still could have handled it on my own!" I yell.

She laughs and steps back.

"You gotta get that temper under control sweetie"she says.

I stand up and glare at her. She walks over to me and looks down at me, shes about 3 inches taller than me.

"The names Jessie" she says.

She sticks her hand out.

"Im Allison" I say.

She looks down at her hand, as I put my hands in my pockets and walk off. My brain snaps back into reality and I remember what im looking for then I start running through the woods.

"Dad!" I scream.

I start running through the woods in search of him.

"DAD!!! DAD!!!" I yell.

I stop and look around. All I see is a trail of blood leading into a pile of brush, I slowly follow it and look around.

"Dad?" I ask.

I hear growls and grunts, moans and groans. When I look over I see zombies eating my father. I scream and fall to my knees then throw rock after rock toward the zombies.

What do I do?!?

"DAD!!!! NO!!!" I scream at the top of my lungs.

I start sobbing and I stare over there. go over there Allison save whats left of him...I slowly get up and walk over there grabbing a sharp stick along the way. I push a zombie down and stab it in the head a couple times and I repeat that with the other four zombies. I stand on top of a zombie and continuously stab it through the brain until theres nothing left, I feel blood fly up onto my face.

"Alli" says my dad faintly.

I calm down and crawl over to him and start crying, he takes his hand and wipes some of the blood from my cheek.

"Daddy.." I cry.

"Can...can u do something for me...pl..please" he asks.

I nod and grab his hand.

"Take c...care of your siblings....and everyone that u love...be my hero" he says faintly.

I start to cry harder and I place my head on his bloody chest.

"I will I promise daddy" i reply.

He smiles weakly and pets my head.

"Do what u need to do to survive...but dont make decisions youll regret" he says.

I nod and lay there and try to forget whats happening the zombies...my dad...my life... I close my eyes and squeeze his hand.

"Daddy please dont leave me" I beg.

"Ill stay as long...as i can....i...i...love you Alli" he answers.

I wipe my tears away and i slowly sit up,  the world starts going faint and I feel the warmth of my dads blood soaking into my clothes and my skin. It was then i noticed jessie standing there, pointing the gun toward my dads head. I jolt up and tackle her, I scream and start trying to get the gun out of her hands. Boom! I sit there and look at my dad whos just got his brains blown out.

"DADDY!!!WHY WOULD U DO THAT JESSIE!!!!" I scream as loud as humanly possible.

"CALM DOWN!!!" Jessie screams.

I crawl over to him and craddle him in my arms getting covered in even more of his blood.

"Come on lets go" she says.

"Im not going ANYWHERE with you" I growl.

She grabs my arm and yanks me up pulling me through the woods. I squirm and try getting out of her grab.

"Let me go!!" I yell.

She slaps me and continues to drag me through the woods, i finally give up and start crying as I allow her to drag me Along over sticks and rocks.

"Come on Allison work with me!" She yells.

I look up at her and break her grip on my arm, I slowly stand up and look around.

"Allison come on we need to get you home before anymore come!" She explains.

I nod and start jogging behind her. we jogged for about a half hour, thats when we noticed we were lost.
