The Beginning of the End

Sadness

James picks me up and throws me to the ground behind him, I watch as he runs and grabs Jessie. I stand up and stare at the zombie walking toward him.

"ALYSSA!!!" I scream.

I get up and run over to them leaving my machete behind.

"ALLISON STOP!!!" ,Yells Jessie, "IT'S NOT HER ANYMORE!!"

I ignore her and run over just to be blocked by James, he swings his arm out hitting me in the chest knocking me back and knocking the wind out of me. I lay on the ground and start wheezing.

"LYSSA!!" I scream as loud as I can.

James pushes the zombie back and kneels down by me.

"Alli calm down please, it's not her" he explains.

I breathe heavily, having a panic attack. He grabs me by my shoulders, looks me in the eyes and kisses me, Its passionate and warm and I never want it to end. He pulls back and helps me up.

"Lets go" He says.

I walk by him and Lise gives up the struggle and allows Brian to carry her, Jessie limps up to me and nudges me.

"Oooo you got a little boyfriend Alli" Kids Jessie.

I feel my face turn red and I shake my head.

"Jess now is not the time" Growls Brian.

Jessie apologizes then keeps walking, she freezes and stares at a girl in the middle of the road.

"IZZY!!" Jessie yells.

Jessie limp runs to her and hugs the girl tightly. Is that her sister? They hug eachother and cry.

"Woohoo family reunion, but if you don't remember there is a hoard of zombies following us so now really is not the time" Says James.

Jessie and the girl walk in front of everyone. I left my machete I sigh and follow behind everyone. James walks with his arm around me

We get home a half hour later and Janie runs out and hugs me and Lise.

"Where the h*ll is Lyssa?" Asks Janie.

Lise starts crying into Janies shoulder and I hold back my tears. I swallow a big ball of sadness.

"Alyssa didn't m...make it" I say.

Janie lets go of us and she falls to her knees and breaks down crying, thats when I see it... Alyssa limping toward us.....growling...
