Chapter 6

Gray pov

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Natsu, when I was talking to Lucy. He looked pissed. I decided to annoy him a little more. I swung my arm around her. She jumped and blushed. Girls blush so much. I saw Natsu stomp away.

I smiled.

My plan was going perfectly.

Lucy pov.

Gray had thrown his arm over my shoulder. I don't know why but I felt my cheeks heat up. I saw Gray smile at me. I smiled too. God why do boys have such contagious smiles.

"Hey are you busy, tomorrow, after school?" He asked.

"N...No I don't think so, why?"

"Mind if I show you around town?" I'm surprised

"S..Su...sure" I Stutter. He smiles wider.

"Great" he hands me his phone. Two new numbers in one day. I hand him mine. He pulls up my contacts and frowns.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing" He brushes aside.

I put my Number in his phone and hand it back.

"I'll text you with the Details."

"Ok" I smile. Just as the bell rings. I bolt up and to to leave but turn around.

"Thank you, for keeping me company today." He smirks. I want to faint

"Sure" He stands up and brushes off his pants. I walk away, blushing.

That evening I'm working on homework. For some reason Mr. Leo thinks that the new kid needs the most homework. My phone buzzes. It's Gray.

Gray:

Hi

Lucy:

HI

Gray:

So about tomorrow. Ill pick u up at ur house at 3

Lucy:

Why 3 and how do u know where I live

Gray:

3 cause, Homework and I know cause ur going to tell me

Lucy:

Oh, 338 River Lane

Gray:

Thx

Lucy:

No prob

Gray:

I set my phone down and not even a problem later it rings. I sigh. I should just turn off my phone then maybe I will get some homework done. I glance at the caller id its Natsu. I stared at my cell phone for a few seconds before I answered. Why the heck wouldn't he just text me. I picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hi" His voice was deeper over the phone but I could tell it was him.

"Natsu? What's up?" I asked half confused and half nervous. I hate talking on the phone.

"Nothing, just asking if you still wanted to go to the festival." He asked then mumbled something.

"Yeah of course, I'm super excited." I truly was.
