The Ghost Of Him

Its been a year now...
A year ago from this day my best friend died of heart failure. And if you think thats bad think about his folks. His Dad hasn't left the house since then and his mom sits around and knits all day... all our friends miss him.

We used to sneek out at night and mess around in parking lots. And when it was around winter time we would sometimes go to empty store parking lots at night and throw snow balls at the store sign. We'd also build huge snow castles in the middle of the lot leaving the workers confused.

He was a cool fun guy to be around. One of the best parts about being friends with him is when someone made fun of him being too short for his age he would literally toss them like a rag. Although the part that bothered me a little is that he was a huge clean freak.

I was on my way to the grave yard and i passed by a funeral for a old man. I felt sad for them because i know how it feels being one of those people in black hiding under an umbrella saying goodbye to someone you cared deeply for.

Today was very rainy and cold. But it made the green grass and trees look cool. I got out of the car and started walking to Levi's grave and i couldn't help but shed one little tear. I knealed down next to the grave stone and kissed it and layed down a bouquet of white roses next to his name.

"Hey Levi... If you can hear me it's Eren... how are you?..I'm great...we all still miss you..your girlfriend actually found someone else..sorry man.. oh and i ditched that broad Mikasa like you said I should.. turns out she was stalking me..i know, creepy right?"

"Well..it was nice seeing you again. Take care..." I got up and left and got back into my car and drove away slowly. But something felt off when I was in my car...I felt like there was something next to me..but I just turned on the radio and was on my way to the store. I had to get cat and dog food and food for myself.

I occasionally grab a bag of hi chew or pocky for myself. When I was at check out I see a bunch of teenage guys about 17 or 18 so chant there way out the door. They must've won a football game or something. But as i scanned the last thing i grabbed I saw a familiar figure make their way to the door. He looked a lot like Levi so I immediately grabbed my bags and walked fast out the store.

When I was outside I looked around the entrance and didn't see anyone. So i shrugged it off and walked to my car and put all the groceries in my car but when i looked over back at the entrance i saw the guy again and he was smoking. And boy he looked A lot like Levi it wasn't a mistake...it had to be Levi i mean there was a little difference Levi's eyes were blue and this guys eyes were grey and he was really pail and Levi looked alive at least.

I ran over to the guy and took a good look at him...it was official...it was Levi.

"Levi??"
"Eren??" He replied back.
My eyes grew big and i wrapped my arms around him
"LEVI!!" I screamed grabbing him.
Levi slowely wrapped his around me too but something was different... very different... Levi was very cold and still. I pulled back and looked into Levi's eyes. He looked so groggy like he was sick or something.
"How-how are you alive!?! I saw your coffin get lowered into the grave. I saw you die in the hospital.

Levi looked down and spoke
"Well...its a long story..."
Here common. I grabbed his hand and it was ice cold. I took off my jacket and wrapped it around him
"Erm-Eren you Don't have to do that."
"Its okay i don't mind."
I grabbed Levi's hand and we walked to my car and drove to my place.
I had to help Levi up the stairs because he kept falling...I guess he had weak legs..

We made it into my house and i sat him down in my chair and started to make him a cup of hot chocolate.
"So...how...how are you here?"
"Well...I'm sorta not here..." he replied.
"What do mean by that?" I asked.
"Well..I'm like a ghost. Im not really seen by people and I'm not completely alive. So like a zombie ghost."
"But how can i see you and touch you??"

"Well you see it's because you were the first to see me die and the last to touch me. And i seems ever since the last moment we had together. We created a bond. "
"Hmmmmm...interesting" but i still Didn't get it...

Levi looked down at his cocoa and frowned. I never liked seeing him in destress. He looked back up at me and we stared into each others eyes.
"Eren...I missed you a lot... "he said shedding a tear.

I started to frown as well and i started to enclose on his face and he turned away...i felt stupid. He took one more sip of his cocoa. And turned back. I gave it one more shot and he stood still. Our lips met and the kiss was amazing. His lips were so cool and refreshing almost like he rubbed ice breaker chap stick on his lips.

I grabbed Levis's gave and he wrapped his hands around the back of my neck. He was so refreshing. Like a cold glass of sweet liquor. We started to get really into it when i slipped my hand up his hoodie. He ripped away from the kiss.
"Sorry!" I pleaded
"No its fine Eren...I'm just very tired."
I calmed down. Levi's eyes were getting heavy. I picked up Levi like a child and layed him down on my side of the bed. He started to gently breathe. He was asleep. I took of his shoes then mine and slipped into the bed as well. I wrapped my arms around him and he gently whispered something.
"I have something for you tomorrow..
"
I looked at him but he already fell back asleep.
I pulled the blanket over us and fell asleep with my arms around Levi, and a happy heart beating in my chest.
