"I love you."

Those words replayed in your mind like a melody. How did this happen? Well...

"I'm so tirrreeeeed..." You yawned as you sprawled out on your desk. "Oh stop whining." (B/F/N) said jokingly. You groaned and sat up, taking out your lunch for the day. It was (F/F) (favourite food XD) ! "Yay!~" you shout, digging into your food.

"Oi! Kageyama!" You hear someone shout from a distance. You turn your head to see your best friend Hinata Shouyou and your crush Kageyama Tobio. You blush, with (B/F/N) noticing. They follow your gaze to see non other than Kageyama.

"Oooh so you like Kageyama?~ " your friend asked. After hearing your friends remark, you snap your head back to (B/F/N) and cover their mouth. "S-SHH... Don't say that!! B-BAKA!!" You say a little too loudly. Hinata peers around Kageyama to see you, and waves frantically. "(Y/N)-Chan!~ Hi!~" he says, almost shouting. After taking your hand off of your friends mouth, you shout and wave back. "Hi Sho-Chan!~" you look over to see the raven haired boy looking back at you blushing slightly.

You shyly wave at him and he waves back slightly, averting his eyes so they avoid all contact with yours. You look down at your hand, and clench it, blushing furiously. As the Duo were about to leave, Hinata shouts, "oh and (Y/N)-Chan! Kageyama wants to meet you on the roof after school!~"

You were slightly taken back by this, but replied, "O-Okay!" Before they were out of sight. Pausing for a minute, you sigh and faceplant your desk, blushing like crazy.
'Say... Me and Kageyama are friends and haven't been able to talk because of club activities... Maybe he just wants to catch up...'
You think to yourself, trying not to get your hopes up. But secretly, you wished that he liked you back.

You put your head back up and sigh, continuing to stuff your face in. While in the corner of your eye, you could swear that (B/F/N) was smirking at you. You look over, "what's that look for?!" You say, slightly muffled. They continue to grin at you, as you continue to stuff your mouth with (F/F).

"...He likes you.~" you almost choke on your food. Blushing, you reply, "what?! N-no way! It's clear that he doesn't like me like that!" "Oh cmon~ stop being so tsundere. That's kageyama's job~" (B/F/N) said teasingly. "Oh s-shut up!" They chuckle at your response and puts the rest of their lunch away. You sigh and look out the window.

No... He doesn't like me like that... Does he?

As soon as school was over, you packed your things Into your bag, another sigh escaping your lips. You glance at kageyama, blushing slightly. You stand up and sling your bag over your shoulder, making your way out of the classroom. You take out a pair of headphones, plug them in and start playing (Y/F/S) (your favourite song). You hum along to it, music on full blast as you make your way to the roof.

Making your way up the stairs, you see Hinata, who flashes you a cheeky grin and puts his thumbs up to you mouthing 'good luck'. Slightly confused but also excited and nervous, you nod, smiling.

You wait at the roof, checking your phone every now and then. You look at the time 4:59 PM. You sigh and lay back on the bench, closing your eyes and humming along to the song you were listening to at that point.

As the song stops, you hear footsteps approaching. You open one of your eyes to see Kageyama standing there. You pull out your headphones and stop the music, shoving both things into your pocket. He stared at you, blushing. Wow... This feels like something out of a Shoujou manga. Your (H/L) , (H/C) hair flowed in the slight breeze as your glistening (E/C) eyes met his.

Time seemed to stop for a moment as you two stood there in complete silence, before you broke it. "U-um..." You started, you could feel your face heating up. "W-was there something you w-wanted to talk about?" You mentally slap yourself for stuttering. "W-well..." He started. You could feel your heart racing. "I... U-um...well..." Kageyama started blushing furiously, averting his gaze. You thought there was something wrong, and a worried expression wiped over your face. "H-hey... Y-you can tell me a-anything..." You went to stroke his arm but pulled away, feeling slightly awkward.

Feeling slightly encouraged by this, he gathered up all the courage he could get, his Raven black hair swaying with the wind, his blue orbs staring directly at you. This moment felt perfect. He took a deep breath, and exhaled. The next three words he was about to speak, you would never expect him to say.

"...I love you."

Those three words replayed in your head like a melody. You were slightly taken back, because never would you expect him to say those three words to you, and genuinely mean them. Your eyes lit up, a red-ish hue forming on your cheeks. You smiled sweetly, causing him to blush. You rushed over to him and tackled him in a hug, repeating those same words back.

"...I love you too."

He cupped your cheeks and pulled you in for a short but sweet kiss.

...This is a memory that neither of you will ever forget.
