Lev x reader

I'm not a big fan of lev but DAMN DAT PHOTO MMMM

...*cough* anyway me and SeaSaltLarry were going on about how almost every character in the nekoma volleyball team are not very fond of him, and this gave me a REALLY GOOD IDEA. I HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOY.

You and Lev have been childhood friends for many years now. Unfortunately, because of work, you had to move away to *insert country here*. You two were very upset about this; what made it worse was that you guys couldn't even keep in touch. But, after some time you begged and pleaded your parents until they said yes, you managed to get enough money to move back. You had moved back to Tokyo, and decided to go to the school nearest to your house, Nekoma. You only had the weekend to get everything sorted out, so you were exhausted by the time it was Monday.

You scrambled out of bed on the gloomy Monday morning of your arrival at your new school and you were more stressed than you thought you would be. After doing your daily routine, you slung your bag over your shoulder and headed to school.

The first few lessons were quite easy, as you had already done this in your old school back in *insert country* – and now it was lunch.

You decided to hang around near the Sakura tree near the gym, as you thought it was more peaceful there. But... It most definitely wasn't.

You didn't want to make a bad first impression, but with the squeaking of shoes and the occasional slam of a ball – it really irritated you. You sighed and stood up, before walking over to the gym door and slamming it open.
"Hey! Could you be any more loude–" your eyes widen as you see a tall figure with grey hair across from you. You pause and stare at the figure in disbelief as he stares back. Yes – it was your childhood friend: Haiba Lev.

"L-LEV?!"
"(Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y/N)-CHAN?!"

You both questioned at the same time.

"LEV!"
"(Y/N)-CHAN!"

You both shout at the same time.

He tackles you in a hug, making you laugh which made him join in. You guys started talking about what's been happening and how everything's been going – basically just catching up.

"(Y/N)-Chan! Wanna come to volleyball practice?" He asked eagerly asks you; eyes bright. "...of course!" You yell throughout the gym as he hugs you tightly. "Yay!~" as you opened your mouth to say something the bell chimed, making you hastily stand up and run to the door; "I'll see you later, Lev!" You announced before rushing to class; barely making it on time.

You rushed to grab your things and left your classroom, eager to see your childhood friend again. As you made your way to the gym, you saw a tall black-haired bed head and a slightly shorter pudding head make their way to what seemed like their club room. "Maybe they're part of the volleyball team, too." You shrugged as you walked into the gym before sitting down on a nearby bench. Bored of sitting around and waiting after five minutes, you pull out your phone to pass the time while you wait for Lev and the rest of the team to arrive.

"(Y/N)-CHAN!!!! YOU ARRIVED!!!" Your head immediately snapped into face the direction of where the voice was coming. Of course – Lev was running up to you. "LEV!!! OF COURSE I WOULD!!" You stood up and ran towards him, too – it looked slow motion and like it was out of an anime or something. As you guys met, you hugged like there was no tomorrow. Until, of course, the captain broke you both apart. "Idiot Lev, cut the crap and get practicing."
