What is he doing here, of all people?

Kageyama let out a breath, his hands digging into his pockets to search for warmth as he scolded himself for wanting to go out today. He sat down on one of the benches, which he was glad that hasn't frosted over yet, in the park he had aimlessly dawdled in just a few minutes ago. 'How did i even get here?' The raven-haired boy thought to himself, taking in his surroundings and finally realising that he had no idea where he was.

He sucked in a sharp breath and stood up, exhaling slowly and realising that just sitting down in the middle of a park on a cold winters day wasn't going to make him any warmer that he'd wished he was. So, he'd wandered onto the streets to find the nearest possible café.

The setter moved through the crowded streets, the lower half of his face tucked into his scarf as kept his gaze on the pavement. Kageyama had no idea where he was at this point, though the scent coming from the left of him intrigued him.

He lifted his head from his ebony scarf to come face to face with what he was looking for. Upon stepping in and taking in the scent of incense being burnt on the top shelf behind the counter, he looked around. The floorboards were of oak and just polished, so it seemed, and the walls had what looked like memories and festivals sellotaped onto them. Altogether, it gave off a homely feel and a very traditional vibe in some way.

Kageyama relaxed as soon as he stepped into the café and went to sit down at a table by the front window of the café itself, taking off his coat to reveal a creamy, pale, beige coloured jumper underneath, his midnight painted scarf still wrapped around his neck loosely. The blue eyed setter rested his head in one of his hands, closing his eyes for a few seconds before fluttering open to once more reveal his dark blue orbs. 'It's very calm in here..'

Upon thinking this, the bell rang by the door indicating that someone had entered.
"I'm back." An all too familiar voice echoed, the tone stoic and expressionless.
"Welcome back!" A more feminine voice responded cheerfully.

Kageyama sighed quietly, keeping his eyes closed as he heard the male that had just entered make his way behind the counter and into the back. A few moments later, he heard footsteps approach his table, making him slowly open his eyes and focus on the man in front of him.

He had on a long sleeved blouse and a black apron, both of these things complementing his build. He wore black jeans that wrapped around his legs perfectly and a black tie. 'The black really compliments his eyes...' kageyama thought to himself as he noticed his olive eyes and his brown hair.

"What would you like to order?" The boy asked in a less emotionless voice than normal. "Ushijima-senpai...?" Their eyes widened an inch.
"Kageyama...Tobio."

"Here's your order."
"Thank you."

Ushijima pulled out a chair and sat opposite from the boy, having a drink of his own and sipped it, gently placing it down onto the table and wrapping his hands around the cup to warm them. Kageyama's eyes shifted to Ushijima's almost immediately, making the ebony-haired boy furrow his eyebrows slightly. A pinkish colour dusted their cheeks as they stared at each other for a while.

"How come you're here?" Ushijima never really got a good look at Kageyama before until now; having black hair that framed his face perfectly and those dark blue eyes that complemented his hair; his jawline being something else.
