The ground was a sheet of white – soft-looking, sparkling snow had draped over the normally cobbled roads.

It was silent.

In the corner of your living room, there stood a large, almost realistic looking Christmas tree, right beside the fire place and the window. It wore antique looking ornaments of all sizes, each with different intricate patterns painted on with acrylic paint. The lights and tinsel spun around the tree like a web of some sort. Presents, all of different sizes and with wrapping paper of different styles, were piled on top of each other under the neat looking tree.

The only light emitting from the room was the crackling fire, and the only sound now was from the record player in the corner, playing only some sort of song that was possibly by one of your favourite artists from that time.

You stood there and smiled, tucking a lock of your silky (H/C) hair behind your ear, your orbs taking in everything in front of you.

The view was beautiful. You silently padded over to the window and rested your eyes upon the sight of snow falling behind the glass. You propped your elbows on the windowsill and your chin in your hands, humming softly along to the tune of the record player.

You almost jumped when you felt strong, firm hands wrap around you from behind, encasing you in their warm embrace. Your boyfriend peppered kisses all along your neck and up to your jaw, making you giggle.
You two didn't say anything but instead just watched the view of the snow from inside the house. You craned your neck back to look at the boy behind you, a warm smile on your lips.

"Merry Christmas, Honey."

"Merry Christmas, (Y/N)"
