Sugawara Koushi X reader

Hey guys, quick question! Should I give all of my  X readers a title? Because right now it's just; '___X reader / ___X reader II' and I think it's getting a little bit boring.

But anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUGAWARA SENPAI AND ENJOY THIS CHAPTER!~

Today is June the 13th. What's June the 13th, you ask? Well, it's your boyfriend's birthday today. Who's your boyfriend? Well, who's birthday is on June the 13th? If you guessed Sugawara, then your answer is correct.

Yes, your boyfriend, Sugawara Koushi, is turning 18 today. How do you celebrate? Well, you plan a birthday party along with the rest of the volleyball team, of course.

~FLASHBACK~

"Sawamura-San!" You yelled into his classroom as he snapped his head back to look at you. "Ah, (L/N)-San, hello." He responded calmly. "Can I talk to you for a minute? It's uh, kind of important." You say as you look down and smile. "Sure." He smiles warmly at you before getting out of his seat and out of his classroom.

"What do you want to talk to me about?" Sawamura adds. "Well, I was hoping we could do something for Sugawara-San's birthday!" You exclaim cheerfully, hope glistening in your eyes. "Of course we can, (L/N)-San. After all, he does deserve it, after everything he's done for the team." He responds as your smile grows wider at his response. "Yay! Thank you, Sawamura-San!" You start. "Could we make a surprise party for him at his house? Please!~" you finish before giving him the puppy dog eyes. "Sure, why not (L/N)-San. I'll make sure to let the rest of the team in on it." He grins.
"Okay, I'll get the stuff ready!" You both nod in agreement and high-five, going your separate ways; 'I can't wait to tell the rest of the team!~'

As practice was going on, you looked over to the door and then back to daichi, both of you nodding as Sugawara wasn't there yet; he had class duties so he wasn't going to be there for a while. "Alright you guys, huddle up!" Daichi's voice echoed around the gym as everyone gathered around. "As you guys may know, it's going to be Sugawara's birthday pretty soon – so me and (L/N)-san have decided to make him a surprise party. keeping in mind that this is a surprise party, no one is allowed to mention this at all around him. Now, his birthday is in a few days, so–"

"Hey guys~ I'm sorry I'm late, I had to pass on my duties to someone else because of practice." A certain silver-haired setter chuckled after his last statement and paused. "Oh? What am I missing here? Is it a surprise birthday party for me?" He joked; everyone thinking it was serious. "Heh, I'm just kidding." He added and everyone sighed and laughed soon after.

As practice continued on normally, you called a few people put to ask them to help you sort the party out. After everyone had agreed, everything was falling perfectly into place.

About 3 days had passed and today was the day of the party; of course, you were the most excited. Everything was going as planned – you made an excuse to go home earlier. The rest of the team had to go earlier, too – daichi had to go to a family party. And before you say anything, we had Hinata stay behind with Koushi so they could practice. Heck, Hinata even tried to set, which failed.

As the silver-haired setter went to get one of the volleyballs, he got a text.

6:30 PM

(Y/N):

Hey! The party's ready! Message me when you're at least five minutes away!~

Sho-Chan:

Thanks, (Y/N)! We'll finish up now, and I will!

You squealed with joy as you looked at the masterpiece you and the team had put together. "Great job guys! Now we just have to wait!" You clasp your hands together as the duo grab their things and start heading to Sugawara's house.

"How come you're coming this way, Hinata?" Koushi asks, tilting his head. "No reason! I just... Wanted to walk this way today because it's quicker!"
"Ahh, I see." The silver-haired boy smiles and keeps on walking. While Suga wasn't looking, the shorter male messages you.

6:55 PM

Sho-chan:

(Y/N), me and Sugawara-Senpai are only a few minutes away – I hope everything goes as planned!

(Y/N):

Ahh, okay! And don't worry, everything is going perfectly so far~

Hinata chuckles to himself at your response and puts his phone away. "What was that?" Suga laughs slightly. "Ahh! it was just a joke I heard the other day!" The orange haired boy responds almost too quickly.

(Y/N):

HAHAHAHA KAGEYAMA'S STUCK UNDER THE COUCH IM C RYING

Sho-Chan:

HAHAHAHA

As the two made their way down the pathway and to Suga's apartment, he unlocked the door to see that it was dark, and turned the lights on–

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUGAWARA-SENPAI"
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUGA-SAN!"
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY KOUSHI!"
Could be heard multiple times from all around the room. You ran up to him and hugged him, nuzzling your face into his neck. "Happy birthday, Koushi-San!" Could be heard from your part as the birthday boy chuckled. "Thank you so much for this, (Y/N)-Chan!" He smiled and hugged you back tighter.

Yep, definitely the best birthday celebration he's had so far.

EXTENDED:

"Kageyama-kun, why are you still under the couch?"

"I...I'm stuck."

"...HAHAHAHA"

"Shut up and help me out, BOKE!"
