After we finished up dinner I walked into the kitchen where Mary was washing the dishes. "Can I help you?" I ask. "Only if you want dear." She says with a smile.

I grab a wet plate and begin to dry it. "You know Tara, you remind me of myself when I was your age." She says.

"Really? How?" I asked. "Fearless, Kind, Riskfull." She says. "I am far from that." I say. "Well you can say that...but what you did yesterday, the day before, this whole entire time....that's all three of those things. Don't doubt yourself Tara." She says.
This sounds like things my mother would say.

"You miss her, don't you?" She asks. I nod. "I lost my mother at a very young age to, it's hard....but I had to think, she'd want me to be happy." She says.

It's silent for a bit. "What about your dad?" She asks. "He....he left when I was six." I say. "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know." "It's fine. I've just learnt from all of this, Why love when everyone you love leaves you." I say.

"Tara....Don't let these two things let you stop from loving someone. I know you've got to love someone else." She says leaving the room.

I think. "Well there's someone whose...." I trail off. I look into the dining room at him. Reece. I just realized. I love Reece Buckingham.
