A small knock was heard on the door and I closed my eyes quickly trying to make it look as if I was sleeping. I pulled the blanket on me a bit higher and tried to even out my breathing.

The door opened up and the smell of roast hit my nose making my go wild with hunger. I tried to keep calm and not show any signs I was awake.

Charlie closed the door behind him and I heard four feet walk around in the room and I tried to think of who the other person could be.

"Is she sleeping?" Charlie asked the man who's presence I could feel above me.

It was silent for a second and I began to worry. "Chloe." A deep voice whispered in my ears giving me shivers.

It took everything in me not to move and show them I was awake, I still haven't figured out these men and what they might do to me.

The prince pulled away his head. "I believe she is."

Charlie sighed and I heard him set down something on the table next to me and soon the smell of roast was sitting just there making my stomach go wild.

"Do you really not feel anything for her?" Charlie asked.

I heard more shuffling and the prince sighed. "Of course I do Charlie. She's my mate."

"Then why do you treat her-"

"You already know the answer to that." The prince snapped at Charlie.

It got silent quickly. The prince sighed again and I felt him gently pull a strand of hair out of my face making pleasurable feeling course through my body.

"I have to Charles." He continued to mess with my hair and I felt pure bless.

Charlie chuckled. "Charles? Haven't heard that name since you turned sixteen, are you already getting soft?" His tone was playfully but what he said upset the prince quickly.

His hand retracted from my face making me frown on the inside, me cheek feeling cold. The prince growled slightly and I heard the door open loudly. "Bring her to training at eight."

He slammed the door shut and it jolted my body up. Charlie looked over at me and gave me a small forced smile. "I know you weren't asleep love, you have your mouth open when you sleep. Peter is not great with details." He chuckled and I stayed emotionless.

Charlie pointed to the silver tray that leaked the amazing smell. "I brought you dinner back."

I opened the lid and a plate of roast and mash potatoes came into view. My stomach growled loudly and I ditched the silverware all together and shoved my hand into the roast and started shoving the meat into my mouth.

Charlie leaned against the wall and watched in amusement as I forced food down my throat before even chewing it.

"You know there are forks." He pointed out. I glared at him and he put his hands up in mock surrender. "Just saying, just saying."

I finished my meal quickly and had meat juice dribbling down my chin, my hands wet with it and mash potatoes parts all over my shirt.

Charlie shoved a towel in my face and I quickly cleaned up the best I could.

"You act like you haven't eaten in days." He said this with more of a hint to his words.
