That was the entrance I was hoping he would make.

Life suddenly seems to fill up inside me, and as I held onto his hand, I knew something was wrong with him, but being with him felt to good to care.

Monroe stopped looking at Charlie and then turned to Peterson, with almost fear in his eyes. "Your eyes.." he mumbled staring into the golden brown orbs I very much preferred over the black ones.

Peterson flashed a million dollar smile at him and slowly walked forward. I took each step with him, my eyes never left his face.

"I am much more powerful without my tylant then with. You also knew that, didn't you Monroe." He walked more steps towards him and Monroe took more back.

Suddenly the other vampires fighting either fled, or fell to the ground with their hands in the air. What was going on?

Peterson took more steps forward and Monroe realized he couldn't back up forever, so he stood there facing Peterson, they were both nose to nose, and hatred rolled off in waves between the two. "Because when I let go of my tylant,"

I watched in anticipation. Charlie stood weakly next to me as a human, his hand on my upper back and I looked down to the floor and managed to see the head Brett held walking in.

"I was powerful enough to kill Rosie,"

Lighting flashed in the sky and I looked down at her Chrystal blue eyes that were still wide open as her head was on the ground as if she was already forgotten.

"I was powerful enough to kill those hundreds of men you sent after me,"

Brett looked up at him in amazement.

"Last but not least, I am strong enough to kill you." His hand let go of mine and I watched him transform into a savage beast.

His fur was a pitch black color, with light grey streaks all over him. His size was massive in comparison to any of the other wolves around. I looked around the court yard and saw the other wolfs bowing their heads.

Charlie lowered his next to me and some of the vampires followed their footsteps. I continued to stare up at Peterson with amazement and his wolf figure didn't look at me, but when I lifted my hand up to touch his back his tail waged.

I smiled and stroked his fur, ignoring the face that I was in the middle of a battle and everyone was watching me.

Peterson finally turned to look at me and I decided an accurate size of him is like him to a polar bear. The other wolfs were large but only if you put them next to an actual wolf. I put my hand on his head and leaned into his. "I missed you."

He blinked slowly at me and then his voice filled inside my head. I missed you too love.

I looked at him bewildered and he almost gave me a wolffish grin. Get used to this cupcake.

I was going to say something witty back towards him but Monroe picked me up and in a flash I was being thrown across the court yard.

I let a scream ripple through me and my body roughly slammed against the ground, my head banging loudly.

I heard Peterson roar and the fight started up again.

I tried to look around but black spots filled my vision once again and I felt the cool trickle of blood come down the side of my head. I stumbled getting up and used the floor beneath me to level me out, my body wobbling around.

Charlie ran up to me and started saying my name, asking me something. I looked at him and closed my eyes, my body leaned backwards and I felt myself falling again.
