Two years earlier.

"Take one step closer to me and I swear to God I will cut your throat!" I screamed running towards behind my couch.

An evil smile crossed her face and she inched closer.

"I'm warning you!" I lifted my fists up ready to punch her but my mom quickly stepped in.

"Chloe! How many times have I told you not to threaten to kill your sister." She shook her head at me but continued her way to the kitchen.

"You live again, this time." I threatened my older sister Miley. I looked down to her big belly. "And you too Greyson, your momma is gonna get you in major trouble with my fist-"

"Not the baby either!" My mother yelled behind the wall separating the kitchen and the living room.

I smiled at that direction and walked into the kitchen grabbing a cup of pudding. I jumped up and sat down on the counter watching my mom write a million things down on her day planner.

"Mom, guess what's in four months?" I smirked.

She sighed loudly. "You're going to college, you've mentioned it once or twice." She turned around and gave me a pointed look.

"Yes ma'm, and do you know who I will miss the most?"

She sighed again making her shoulder sag. "Gia."

At the sound of her name a white labs head popped up and looked up at me. I smiled at the dog and her tail started to wag softly against the floor. Oh my baby.

I hopped down from the counter and grabbed a chocolate bar with some apple juice and headed to school.

"By mom and Gia love you!" I called out through the door.

"What about me?" A deep voice said behind me.

"You too dad. Have a good day!" I gave him a hug and hurried my way to my car already knowing I'm late again to class.

Of course it's the horrible math teacher Mrs. Burns. I'm pretty sure that's her last name anyways, that or it's a nick name the kids gave her because she used to burn her students with a lighter when they messed up.

I shuddered at the thought of her wrinkly face.

I slammed on my gas and sped to school quickly. I jammed in the car loudly creating a few stares from the other students driving to school.

"GIRL YOU'RE PERFECT, THE WAY YOU WORK IT." I sang, more like screamed, loudly in my car. "AND YOU DESERVE IT."

"Shut up!" An annoyed voice said next to my car.

I gritted my teeth tightly and turned to look at him. "Hello Brett. How many puppies have you slaughtered this morning?"

He narrowed his eyes at me and a small frown appeared. I sped past him and parked my car quickly trying to ignore the other cars paint I scratched off.

Brett parked right next to me whispering insults to me as I tried to hurry up into school.

"Nice shirt, you do realize you have a mustard stain on the back right?" He mocked.

Ha, jokes on him. I hate mustard. That's actually paint.

I heard the bell ring and threw my head back in annoyance. Great.

I still ran to class with Brett hot on my heels. Finally reaching the class that seemed to be at the back of the school I slammed open the door and quickly ran to my seat with Brett, who sadly had to sit down next to me.
