Ten years later.
I watched her small face fill with tears as she stomped on the ground frantically. "Mommy that's not fair! He took my toy! He doesn't even like dolls!"
I gave a pointed look to my nine year old son but he only gave me a toothy grin. I rolled my eyes and looked back down at my daughter. "Rose, you have to share your toys, even if we both know Liam is only doing this to annoy you."
Liam stuck his tongue out at Rose and I watched her tan skin like her fathers flush. "I'm getting daddy!" She screamed. She then stomped off leaving the room.
For a five year old she was very dramatic.
I looked at Liam who then dropped the doll bored of it. "Would you look at that, I don't want the doll anymore!" He walked over to me and gave me a hug. "I love you mommy."
I hugged him back but pushed him off. "Liam that wasn't nice."
He gave me a pointed look like 'woman I don't care' and he rolled his bright green eyes. I was about to yell at him for rolling his eyes to me, but last time I did he just muttered "who do you think I learned it from."
Liam Peter Winchester was a trouble maker just like his father. With his skin, face shape, and too cute of smile, he was causing havoc everywhere he went. He was either putting bees in Rose's room or tripping her in front of her class mates. The school has to call me a lot with new information, like him setting the school bathroom on fire. I knew it was all an act to get attention. You think being the prince of the worlds largest pack is enough but not Liam, he needs all eyes on him always.
Rose Charolette Winchester was a daddy's girl in every way. One moment she's in my arms, the next she's running from me straight into Peterson's arms, but he doesn't mind one bit. She has Peterson's black hair and brown eyes. She is a very intelligent little girl and thinks boys are 'icky' which Peterson says she gets from me.
The door opened up and a small little boy came walking into the room with floppy black hair. "I'm here Liam, I came as fast as I can!" The little boy panted.
His chubby little body was sweating to death and I marveled at how much he looked like his father. "Mason you're supposed to be next to your father working today." I arched an eyebrow and stared down at him.
He blushed and Liam scoffed. "Mom, I'm nine, he's eight, we don't listen to grown ups anymore!" He pushed the hair out of his eyes and adjusted his black t-shirt. "Besides, what dad and Beta Brett do is boring! Right Mason?"
I looked over back to Mason and Liam gave him a threatening look. Mason nodded his head frantically and his blue eyes shone up to me.
"My bad! I didn't realize we had grown men in this room!" I put a hand over my heart and Liam smirked.
"That's because we didn't." A deep voice interrupted. "Until now."
I looked over at Peterson who stood with his arms crossed and a cold look on his face. Rose was holding his hand standing next to him with a proud look on her face. Liam shot a look over at Rose and then ran over to me. "Mommy help me!"
Mason didn't seem to mind Liam's major switch on 'being a man' because when Brett walked in he ran hiding behind my other leg.
I chuckled and the two men in front of me relaxed. Brett sighed and called over for Mason to follow him out of the room and he did so grudgingly and looked back at Liam. "I'm sorry." He whispered. He trudged off and Brett put a hand behind his back leading him out.
