Hello guys! So I know this is weird, this one shot being in-between my Drakon ones, but Trials of Apollo was released today, so I'd thought I'd do a oneshot somewhat relating to that to celebrate! Who finished reading it? I did. IT WAS SO GOOD. Part 3 of the Drakon oneshots will be coming Saturday. Anyway, enjoy the story!

I'ma ask you guys a question here. If you were an immortal being, wouldn't you be able to hold onto your things?

Like, come on. Zeus is soooo bad with that lightning bolt, and don't even get me started on Hermes with his staff. Uh, hello, you're gods, Aren't you supposed to be powerful?

Anyway, what was I saying again? Oh right. Gods and their things. So apparently, here comes Apollo, ready to join up the group of gods who call the Percy Jackson & Annabeth Chase hotline for getting gods back their things!

It was a normal day, as any other, in Camp Half-Blood. Annabeth and I were hanging out by the lake arguing about blue vs. grey. Don't get me started. Anyway, we were enjoying ourselves, bickering like when we were twelve, when a gold flash of light appeared before us, dissipating to reveal the lovely god Apollo, yay. Was sarcasm detected? Good.

He spread his arm as if to reveal himself. "Well hello there demigods! Are your eyes pleased to see my amazing body?" He grinned.

I could see Annabeth struggling to avoid rolling her eyes and sighed, dropping to one knee. I followed her.

"Oh Lord Apollo, what a pleasure it is to see you." She said, her voice monotone like a robot. "To what do we owe this pleasure?"

I hold back a laugh and pinch my lips together to keep from smiling.

"Well, young demigods, the gossip on Olympus has been that you two." He said, pointing to me and Annabeth. "Are the two best heroes to help us retrieve our things! I mean, Hermes has not stopped ranting about how you saved that stick-snake thing of his."

I could see where this was going. I stood up. "Oh no. Oh no way."

"Oh yes way, Percy Jackson. Surely you are not turning down the chance to help me, your favorite god!" He said, completely oblivious to the glares Annabeth was sending at him.

She threw her hands up in the air and sighed. "Might as well get this done. What do you want to be retrieved, o Lord?"

"So glad you asked, dear demigod. I need my lyre to be retrieved." He smiled.

"Your lyre?" Annabeth said. "How did you even lose it? Isn't it always on you?" She said.

Apollo sighed. "Silly demigod. I just set it down for a few minutes to go flirt with some very beautiful girls by the pond, and when I came it back, it was gone."

Of course. And you think gods should be responsible.

Keyword: Should

"And do you believe someone stole it?" I asked him.

His eyes glinted a little maliciously for a second. "No, I know it was stolen. And I know where it is. But, there's an aura-thingy that's preventing me from go in where it is. You know, like a forcefield. We gods are forbidden to enter each other's domain without permission."

"A god stole it?" Annabeth questioned.

"No, probably just the leftovers of an old home of a minor god. The power residue might still be there, preventing me. Which is why I need you two to help me."

I rub my hands over my eyes.

"Come on, Percy. It'll just be easier to do this quickly and get it over with." Annabeth said.
