"Jasmine open the door!" Cassidy yelled from the other side of the door.

"Who's that?" Hil asked, giving me a confused look. I sighed.

"Just another addition of people who know I have a date tonight," I muttered, climbing off the floor and walking over to the door. The second I unlocked it, Cassidy pushed it open and stormed in here. Hilary gasped.

"Cassidy Shaffer!" she exclaimed in shock. Cassidy stopped in her tracks and looked around, startled. I pointed to the laptop, answering her silent question. She glanced over at the laptop, then nodded like she understood, and looked back at me.

"Why would you not tell me you have a date with Will tonight?!" she demanded, placing her hands on her hips.

"I dunno," I admitted honestly. "Is it really a big deal? I mean, it's just a date."

"It is not just a date!" Cassidy and Hil said at the same time. I walked to the laptop and turned it around so Hil could look at the both of us. Cassidy smiled at her.

"Hi," she said polietly. Hil smiled back at her.

"Hello!" When Cassidy looked back at me, her smile dropped and she looked at me seriously. I turned and walked to my closet to look for something to wear. I heard the bedframe creek, so I guessed Cassidy sat down on the bed.

After a moment of silence, Cassidy asked, "Why were you so scared today?" When Hilary asked what happened today, she explained how Will had thrown me into the pool, and how scared I had looked.

I smiled when I saw a a tanned high low dress. I pulled it out of the closet and held it up to look over it. Wrapped around the waist was a thin, brown belt, and it was sleeveless. Cassidy's face lit up when she saw the dress. "That is so cute!"

"Thanks. Um, I need shoes..." Will was picking me up in two hours, and I knew if Cassidy was here she'd want to do my hair, and make up, and take so much more time than I intended.

"Oh! What about these?" Cassidy stood from the bed and walked to the closet. Bending down, she picked up a pair of brown ankle boots. I nodded and closed the bedroom door, then changed into the dress.

"So, you never answered me," Cassidy said as I got dressed. I sighed.

"Oh, she can't swim," Hil answered casually, inspecting her nails. I glared at her while I threw my shorts to the side.

"Seriously?" Cassidy asked with wide eyes. I sighed and nodded. "Well, I think it's cute he tried to help you face your fear." I looked up at her and smiled.

"I gotta go," Hil said, standing up, "bye Jaz, bye Cassidy."

"Bye," we said in unison, then the computer screen went black. Cassidy shut the laptop then turned to look at me.

"Okay," she said, smiling, "lets get you dolled up."

----

"You look gorgeous!" Cassidy gushed, applying one last brush of blush, then putting it down on the table beside me. "I am a genius. Look at yourself!" She took a step back to let me turn around in my chair and look.

"Wow," I whispered in shock. My long hair was pulled to the side and straightened perfectly. Light red blush colored my cheeks, and what looked like black ink lined my eyes. My green eyes looked 10x brighter, thanks to the mascara.
