FRANK




I open my eyes and as the memories of the receding day return, the first thing I remember is that Hazel got hurt. The second is that we broke up. And the third is that Leo and Hazel were holding hands.




I instantly made the worst assumption and ran off. Piper followed me. She talked to me and helped me feel better about Hazel and Leo until I fell asleep.




That's when I look down at my slightly extended arm and see a head of hair poking out of the covers. "Pipes?" I say.




Piper tosses and turns in my arms and then looks up. First she looks confused and then she smiles. "Aye, Frank. Sleep good?"




She rubs her eyes and yawns. He then says, "Yeah. Better than the last few days. Thanks, Piper. What about you?"




"What about me?" She looks up at me and smiles slightly.




"Did you sleep okay?" I say and surprise myself when I smile back.




"Oh. Yeah. Sorry I fell asleep on you. I didn't mean to," she looks down sheepishly. "It's okay," I say noticing one of my arms around her waist.




I then throw the covers off us and she leaves my room to get ready. Saying, "See ya in a couple of minutes, Frank." "See ya," I say back and I start to get ready myself.




LEO




Last night Piper said she'd go check on Frank. Jason then kissed Piper and told us goodbye, leaving Hazel and myself alone with Nico.




Nico left after saying Frank will be alright. But I knew Hazel wouldn't agree so easily. Hazel scooted over on her bed and made room for me after everyone else left. I tried my best to comfort her and after a half an hour or so of talking, the look of worry on her face seemed to lessen.




"Morning, Hazel." I look on my shoulder to see curls of moving hair. I close my eyes for a second and when they open her face is smiling at me. "Morning, Leo."




Then her lips are pressed on mine and I smile. I pull away, "How you feeling?" "Better. Like it didn't even happen."




"Great, I'm going to go get dressed. See you soon," I say sliding out of the covers, opening the door, and closing it behind me.

After taking a shower and getting dressed, I walk up to the deck and takes the controls from Coach Hedge.




Everything's fine, I think. Piper is with Jason, I'm with Hazel, and... Percy and Annabeth are in Tartarus. Frank is also heartbroken.




Leo sighs and looks over at his friends, Jason and Piper.
