Jeyna• A Visit From Some Old Friends

----------------------------------------

JASON

Jason lays on his bed thinking of what in the world he did. An hour or so ago he had sat on his bed in front of the two people who has been there for him through thick and thin over this lot of months and basically admitted that he had feelings for Reyna.

Good going, Jason. Why not just scream out, "I LOVE REYNA!" to your girlfriend and bestfriend next time you see them? Smart one this one is. Jason sits up immediately when a voice echoes off the sides of his head. He looks around frantically; he knows the voice that spoke to him.

It wasn't his own -no. He was for sure imagining things. It couldn't be his voice. It couldn't be-

Jason? Can you hear me? The voice sounded unsure... maybe he could read his thoughts and that's what gave him the idea that Jason could hear him. But it was him. It was.

Percy.

The voice in his head was in fact the great Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, and he was somehow speaking to him from inside his head. And he somehow heard Jason too because he responded -and he sounded... off.

Yeah. It's me. There was a period of long heavy breaths and then one ragged scream; it wasn't a girly scream as much as Jason hated to admit it. But as it was repeated -and Jason realized he must be able to hear what Percy actually says through his mouth too- the scream formed a word -Jason couldn't mistake it for anything else.

Annabeth!

"Percy?!" It took Jason a minute to realize he just yelled Percy's name aloud and that he was completely alone in his room. Percy was in Tartarus and so was Annabeth so there was a good chance that Jason was going insane and that he was just imagining the son of sea god's voice in his head... then again he's been through crazier things.

Percy. A raspy, sweet voice says inside his head. Percy, are they gone?

Yes. Annabeth, they're gone. ...Jason, you still there?

Jason?

Yeah... uhm.

Yeah, I'm... here. Jason urges his thoughts towards the voices in his head; he pictures Percy's and Annabeth's faces talking to him -hoping that they will get the message.

Woah. Is that really you, Jason? Like Jason Grace? At least Annabeth heard him.

It's him. Percy said sounding tired.

Then a whirl of colors came down on Jason and everything went white.

***

When Jason opened his eyes everything was gray. That is except for the two faces looming over him. His eyes open wide as soon as the faces came into focus.

"Percy? Annabeth?"

They looked relieved. "Finally. Hey, Jason do you know where we are? Not that I'm complaining or anything this is way better than Tartarus. ...Did you bring any food with you?" Percy normally didn't ask for Jason's help, but Jason guessed after being in Tartarus for a week or so-

"What? Wait." Jason sat up straight, clashing foreheads with Annabeth.

They're actually here. I'm actually here -wherever here is, Jason thought.

Annabeth reared back, pulling her hand to her forehead. "Thanks for that. And, guys, I think that we are still where we were just now we are in a dream state." "We're still in Tartarus?" Percy didn't look too happy and Jason didn't blame him.
