Emma's POV

Me and Regina hopped in the bug and I started driving.

"Alright, start explaining!" Regina said turning to face the boys in the backseat. Henry sighed and looked to the boy sitting next to him as if asking him where he should start.

"I was working in Gold's shop when he brought out an old looking book...

Flashback time! Henry's POV

"Morning Henry," my grandfather said coming out from the back of the shop. He had a book in his hand.

"Good morning grandpa, what's the book about?" I asked. He just smiled at me.

"Things you wouldn't understand," He said. I looked at him confused but then kept sweeping. Gold started looking through cabinets.

"What are you looking for?" I asked him.

"Nothing, just for a key I had back here somewhere," Gold said pulling out a polished wooden box.

"Is the key in there?" I asked as he opened the box.

"That it is," He said holding up a large key. I inspected the key more closely as he flipped through the pages of the book.

"Isn't that the key to the dark one's vault?" I asked. He nodded. "What are you going to do with it?" I asked concerned. Gold stopped on a page clearly having found what he was looking for.

"I'm glad you asked my dear boy, because it involves you," Gold said a smirk appearing on his face. I felt all of my muscles tightening and I became ridged under the influence of his magic.

"What are you doing?" I asked scared about what he was going to do. He brought me into the back room.

"Well dearie, I need you to help me get Balefire back," Gold said.
