Operation Mongoose

The video in the media is probably the best video edit of Operation Mongoose I have seen! All the love goes to the person who created it, faithandfearcollide (that's the persons Youtube where you can find the video again!) They did a brilliant job! Go check them out, I highly suggest it! Anyway, on with the chapter!

Luke's POV

Landing on the ground wasn't painful. Maria landing on top of me was.

"Maria can you get off please!" I said through clenched teeth. She scrambled off and then helped me to my feet. Mr Jackson had landed next to us.

"Ow," he said getting up.

"Sorry, didn't warn you landing can be rough," I said. He nodded.

"Where are we?" Maria asked. I looked around.

"I'm not sure, it looks like the page I flipped to in the book," I said. I turned to look around at my surroundings more. I heard a thump next to me and felt someone fall against me. When I turned I saw Maria against me before everything went black.

When I woke up I found my hands tied.

"You really thought you would win?" I heard someone say. I turned to see Issac. "You see, I know the book, I wrote it, and the best part is you placed us in the last chapter, and when the church bells ring you won't be able to change anything," he said with a smile.

"I can still change things," I said.

"Not quite, you see, in this chapter the giant appears, and he'll kill you, and I'll be gone so I won't see it, have fun!" He said and then he ran off. I looked around. Maria was slumped next to me on the ground, her hands were tied to the same rope as mine. Mr Jackson was on my other side his hands also tied to the rope. Great. I saw Maria stur. She opened her eyes and struggled against the rope. When she saw me she relaxed a little.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Issac knocked us out and tied us up, to be fed to a giant," I said.

"Where's Dad?" She asked.

"Next to me, hasn't woken up yet," I said.

"What are we going to do?" She asked. I could hear the fear in her voice.

"We wait and hope someone helps us," I said. Mr Jackson started to stur.

"Ow," he said as he opened his eyes.

"Issac followed us, knocked us out, and tied us up so we can be eaten by a giant," I said before he could ask. He groaned.

"Why do we always end up in bad situations!" Mr Jackson said. Then we felt vibrations. I could hear the giant before we saw it.

"Here comes the giant," I said. It appeared out of the trees and yelled in our faces. That's when I heard the horse coming. A knight came galloping out of the woods on a horse. He slayed the giant and we stood there in awe. He magically undid the ropes.

"You alright?" He asked. It was Rumpelstiltskin.

"We'll be fine, thank you," I said.

"No problem dearie, stay safe," he said before galloping off.

"Who was that?" Maria asked.

"Rumpelstiltskin also known as the Dark One, but apperantly he's a hero in this world," I said.

"What do we do now?" Mr Jackson asked. I reached into my inner jacket pocket and pulled out Maria's copy of Heroes and Villains.

"How'd you fit that in your pocket?" Maria asked.

"Henry enchanted my jacket pockets to be bigger on the inside," I said grinning.

"Like a TARDIS?" Maria asked. I nodded.

"That's where he got the idea," I said. We started walking hoping to find a place to get directions. I looked through the book hoping to find a way to fix everything. We had been walking a while when I heard a rustling. Normal human hearing wouldn't have been able to pick it up but since I was a werewolf I heard it. I held out my arm and signaled for the Jacksons to stop.

"What are we stopping for?" Mr Jackson asked.

"Something is watching us," I said in a hushed whisper. I heard the rustling again and pulled the sword Henry had given me out of the pocket of my jacket.

"You have a sword in your pocket!" Maria said in a yell/whisper. I nodded.

"You have no idea how many times I've needed to use this sword Maria!" I whispered. The rustling stopped nearby and I looked around. Some leaves fell from the tree above us. Then something tackled me from above. My sword slipped from my grasp as I rolled over onto the attacker. I got ready to punch the attacker until I got a good look at his face. It was Henry. He stopped struggling beneath me once he saw it was me.

"Luke!" he said.

"Henry!" I said.

"Well this is awkward," Henry said. I got off of him and then helped him up. Maria and Mr Jackson were standing their waiting to see what was going to happen.

"Uh, Maria and Mr Jackson, this is Henry, Henry this is Maria and her father Mr Jackson," I said making introductions.

"Hi, Luke told me a lot about you guys," Henry said.

"Oh, that's nice," Maria said.

"You found me!" Henry said turning to me.

"What's that cheesy line that your grandparents always say, oh yeah, I will always find you," I said. Henry laughed.

"We should come up with something better," he said.

"We'll figure it out later, right now we need to figure out how to fix this," I said.

"I have an idea," he said.

"What do you have in mind?" I asked.

"Operation Mongoose," he said grinning.
