The troop leader woke all the girls at 8 a.m to go to early breakfast and morning hikes. They had made cereal for breakfast that morning and decided to go on the long grass trail. It was a bit chilly outside so they dressed warmly and put on their insect repellent." They should make monster repellent."said Sarah, who did not enjoy putting on repellent. " Thats the only way she would be happy to put on repellent." whispered Mary to Penelope. They both giggled and the troop started to go on the path.
Amy kept on talking and going on and on about her life, everyone thinks she's the annoying one who tries to be interesting and always buts into their conversations.
As they kept walking they started to get nearer and nearer to the forest. Just then, there was a rustling noise behind the bushes. All the girls got scared, even the troop leader.
"I guess we got too close to the forest" Mary thought. A foot stepped out from the bush, then the other. Then, another foot, and another.
It was the two Boy Scouts who were staring at Sarah and Mary the day they came. Knowing the rule not to talk to them, they all started to walk away. Suddenly, one of the boys yelled, "STOP", but it wasn't the boys it was the leader of the camp. She started to yell at them," How dare you break the rules! You haven broken two very IMPORTANT rules, going near the forest and talking to other campers! Do not do this again!" "We weren't even talking, they just appeared from behind the bush as if they were spying on us!"yelled Sarah.
"OK!," yelled Mary with her squeaky voice, " STOP FIGHTING!" Sarah backed off a bit and suddenly she realized that the troop leader and the two mysterious boys had disappeared.
