Jayden asked to hang out
Sigh,ain't gonna lie, he is a beauty... But I have no time for fudge boys.
I have spent years bouncing back from what my own father has put me through to let a cute face tear down ma walls and hurt me.
And judging from his lil encounter with what's her face, I can tell he has a lot of hoes and I am not going to be one of them.
Speak of the devil and he shall appear.
"Hey ma" he chimmed.
I waved and continued walking to the quadrangle.
"Where you heading?"
" To the quadrangle"
"Mind if I join you"
"I guess not"
Wouldn't hurt to have a lil company before class, I had a long wait anyways.
We got there and found a nice shade under the big tree.
Just as we sat down a fatty fell in the middle of the quadrangle..
Poor girl.
Jayden and I started laughing.
From there we got engaged in a lil conversation.
" So shawty,have you heard about the ball"
"What ball"
"Well it is only the best party of the year, its kinda like a high school prom for college students"
"First hearing about it"
" You should go ma"
" Nah,not my scene"
The thought of dressing up to parade around with a date ion even like didn't intrigue me one bit.
"Atleast consider it"
"Nothing to consider... I'll pass".
Didn't feel like talking anymore. I plugged in my earphones and listened some drake while Jayden sat there doing God knows what.

It was 15 minutes until class starts. We made our way to the main hall where I spotted ma bestfraaaann.
"Hunnaaayyeee" she giggled.
" Hey biihhh" I laughed
"Well hello there cutiie"She cooed at Jayden before introducing herself.
Jayden greeted her with his usual smile.
"Amma borrow my bestie for a sec" she said pulling me to the side.
"Your mom said she'd been trying to get you all day" she informed me.
"You know I blocked my parents number from ma phone fam, and what she tryna get me for"
"Ion know,but she said it's important"
My mind drifted as I tried to figure out what could have been of such importance
"Maybe you should give her a call Kate"
