Chapter 15

I woke up feeling well rested and ready to enjoy my only free day.I reached over to the night stand and open my phone seeing that Jayden just texted me.

Jayden:Babe, put on something nice, picking you up in 20.

Me: Okki punk.

I hopped out of bed feeling rather chirpy.
I blasted my favorite Gospel playlist and got my praise on while getting ready to got out.

I stared at myself in the mirror for a bit ensuring that I was looking fly before taking a few pics
You could tell I was feeling myself.

*knock knock*

"Who's there" I asked knowing it was Jayden

"It's me " he said laughing

I opened the door and started laughing
"Ouuuu, we're matching "

We were both in grey and white.

"Great minds think alike " Jayden affirmed

We made our way to the car and of course I had to ask where were we going.
Jayden was ignoring me every-time I asked and I hated it.

We drove around for a few minutes before Jay pulled up to a open lot
I was so confused

"Where are we punk?"
Again no answer

He parked the car and came around to open my door.
He was being so weird
"Stand right here and put these on"

"I don't wanna put on blind folds I wanna see where I'm going "

"Don't argue with me woman"
He put them on and began to lead me to God knows where.

"I'm tired of walking Jayden " I began to whine
"We're almost there"
He positioned me and slowly took the blindfolds off.

"Happy Birthday Kate!!"
Iwas shook
Janae, Brade and Jayden were all so sneaky.
"Oh my God guys" I said with teary eyes.

"I know you don't like your birthday but I had to do something special for you ma" Jayden said before kissing my forehead.

I looked around and saw that my name was spelled out with roses and they hung a portrait of me on this big ass tree.
I saw all my favorite food on the picnic table with three gifts from my three favorite people in the whole world.
I was so happy I couldn't hold back the tears.

They stared singing and o boy did the tears fall even harder.

They each made a small toast before we dived in on all this food.

We fooled around all day letting our hair down and having tons of fun till it was getting really late

"I don't know about y'all but I gotta take Janae home before it gets too late" 

We said our goodbyes packed up all the stuff and made our way back to the car.

I was smiling all the way back to my room

"Thank you Jay I really appreciate it"
"It's no big deal baby, you have a good night"
