I aim my gun down the hall as I walk to the open door. The only open door in the whole school and the only one unlocked at that. I'm pretty sure I am dreaming again because it is the middle of the night and I can see with no lights on. I go into the classroom and a figure is in the centre of the room on some sort of symbol. It's back was to me, so, I couldn't see his face but I knew he was smirking from his laugh of derision. Like he was mocking me. "Who are you?!" He laughs even more. "I said, "Who are you?!"."

"I am the one who's coming." That voice...A voice that seemed so familiar to me...

"I know your voice. What's your name?"

"My name is-"

I wake up with a jolted start but no screaming this time. Thank God. I pant heavily and someone sits up beside me.

"Are you okay?" A innocent, beautiful voice asks me.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I look at the person beside me and I frown. "Ziba, what are you doing here?"

"Doesn't matter. Just go back to sleep, Ashlee." She tries to pull me down with her but I stay sitting. A door, which wasn't the bathroom nor the front door, was by the TV and slightly ajar. I slowly get up and grab my gun. "What? What is it? I can smite them, need be."

"I'm just closing the door." I start walking towards the door.

"Just come back to bed, Ashlee." I look back and it is like her face had transformed into something else, and I look towards the door again.

"I'm just closing it. Everyone knows that an open door in the mind, is a dangerous thing. 'Cause this is what it is. I'm still dreaming and I refuse to have that door open."

"What do you mean it's a dream? It feels real to me. Just come back to bed." Ziba pleads but I ignore her, and move forward and grasp the door handle. "Ashlee, don't please. Please, Ashlee." Unfortunately, while all I was saying was true and I wanted to close the door. I needed to look on the other side...Curiosity was getting the better of me...I walk through and shut the door behind me.

I appear in this circular grass area, surrounded by trees as far as I can see. Once again, there is a figure in the middle of the grass area on the same symbol. "Okay, it's just a dream and dreams can't hurt you, so, wake up, Ashlee." I reassure myself. "Get out of your dream, Ashlee. Wake up." I was beginning to panic as I was going no where and he was starting to move closer. "Wake up, Ashlee. Wake up. WAKE UP!"

I felt myself pull away from sleep but I couldn't move my body. Sleep paralysis. Dammit. I breathe in deeply and attempt to wiggle my toes and fingers. Success! I sit up slow and stretch my arms above my head. "Morning, Ash. Breakfast is served." I look at the table which had a small bottle of apple, grapes and buttered crumpets. Yummy! Dean was eating a breakfast burrito and coffee. Sam was having a granola bar, apple and coffee. I get out of bed and start to dig in. "You doing okay, Ash? It's just, you sounded like you were grunting in annoyance when you woke up."

"Sleep paralysis. My mind woke up before my body did essentially. It can be terrifying if you don't know what it is and why it happens sometimes in sleep." I look at Dean and Sam. "You know, I stand up and back away from the table. This is too perfect. Too perfect."

"What do you mean 'too perfect'?" Sam asks. "All we are doing is eating breakfast."

"No. No, you are not because this-" I wave my hands about everywhere. "Is not real."

I shoot up, screaming at the top of my lungs and start to calm down as arms envelope me, showing me fingers, and a voice starts to soothe me. Sam. And he has 10 fingers. I can't help but feel overwhelmed with emotions which bought tears down my face. I bury my face in Sam's chest and just let's the tears flow. Sam rubs soft, comforting circles on my back which calms me down from my hysteria. "You're safe, Ash. It was just a dream."
