Dean parks the Impala out a place called the 'Century Hotel' and we get out, grabbing our bags from the back as we do. "Excuse me, friends-" He look at the religious man who calls at us. "But have you taken time out to think about God's plan for you?"

"Too friggin' much, pal." Dean comments before we walk inside. As soon as we get a room, we get a call from Cas who has info. "We're talking about the Colt, right? I mean, as in the Colt?"

"We are." I raise an eyebrow. I can hear Cas when he's not on speaker...Chuck was right about the heightened senses thing. Awesome.

"Well, that doesn't make any sense. I mean, why would the demons keep a gun around that, uh, kills demons?" I hear a car go past Cas on the other side.

"What? What? Did-I didn't-I didn't get that." I giggle and Dean gives me a frown but ignores me.

"You know, it's kind of funny. Talking to a messenger of God on a cellphone. It's, you know, like watching a Hell's Angel ride a moped."

"This isn't funny, Dean." Cas says in a worried voice over the phone. "The voice says I'm almost out of minutes." I start flat out laughing and double over. By the time I was done laughing, Dean had already hung up.

"What the hell, Ash?" Dean asks.

"Cas is so clueless that he's hilarious." I supply with a grin.

"And you could hear that?" Dean questions me and I nod.

"Remember what Chuck said? Heightened senses." I explain. "To think, 3 months ago, I needed hearing aids. Now, I have better hearing than you."

"Definite improvement." Dean agrees with a smirk and I return it.

"Anyway, I'm hitting the shower." I state.

"Sure. Don't be surprised if I'm asleep when you're done, bitch."

"Ass." I return but my smile falters. It wasn't the same without Sam.

~Later~

So, Sam was Lucifer's vessel and Dean isn't panicking as much as we should be. I was trying to track Sam down and see if he was close by. Maybe I could go and see him? Just sneak off while Dean is sleeping. I mean, he deserves the sleep. He's been driving for about 16 hours straight. You know that feeling that you sometimes get when someone's watching you? That's exactly what I'm feeling at the moment. Suddenly, Zachariah appears by Dean's bed. "No!" I exclaim, jumping up but it was too late. Dean was gone. Zachariah turns his gaze to me and looks smug. He clicks his fingers and I fall to my knees in pain, coughing up blood.

"Don't worry, the Pulmonary embolism will only last for a couple of minutes." Zachariah explains. Doesn't he have any new tricks? "I just want you to suffer for a while. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to see a certain brother of yours in 2014." He disappears and I struggle to get my phone out of my pocket. I press speed dial 4. It rings twice before Cas answers.

"Hello, Ashlee." Cas greets.

"Z-Z-Zachariah." I gasp out between the coughing up of blood. "Took. Dean." My surroundings change and I'm on some ground off the side of a road. I feel my hair get pulled back. Cas. "Lasts. Couple. Minutes." I'm reduced to one word sentences.

"Was is it?" Cas asks in worry.

"P-P-Pulmonary. E-Em-Embolism." I say with blood pouring from my mouth. The pain in my chest stops and I stop coughing. Finally. I spit out the blood from my mouth, and sit cross legged on the ground, next to Cas who was kneeling. "Wow, that was fun. And that was sarcastic if you didn't gather."
