I move from corridor to corridor from door to door - killing everyone in my path from scientist to soldier while rigging c4 over the entire base. I make an exit through the garage on a snowmobile and I am faced with a blanket of snow that extends for as far as I can see. Once I get a safe distance from the base, I trigger the c4s and sigh in relief when the base blows up.

Which way is the nearest populated area?

Konergino. Go Southwest for roughly 150 miles.

I need a different town. It is probably the first place the survivors will look.

If you go Northwest, you will find Egvekinot. Again, it's a place the survivors will look as well. Although, you are more likely to be able to steal a boat from Egvekinot than from Konergino. If you steal a boat, you can sail to Anadyr. You will have to follow the coast South then make a turn inland to get to Anadyr. You should be able to get a flight from Anadyr to Moscow. You will have to steal cash from people. And I know you stole three of your fake passports from the central room.

You really thought this out, haven't you?

Yes.

I nod in thanks before setting off towards Egvekinot. After 5 hours, I arrive at Egvekinot, and hide the snowmobile behind a building before walking off. I make it about 10 minutes before I find an empty house and break in. I close the door discretely and start rummaging through draws in the kitchen. Bingo.  26250 ₽. That's about £300? Dammit, I need more for a plane ticket. I search the living room and find 8750 ₽ which is another £100. I walk upstairs to find 3 rooms and a bathroom. I check the master bedroom where I find 22000 ₽ which is about £250. I decide against taking a shower and steal a backpack - filling it with canned foods like soup and packaged foods like cereal bars before heading out the front door. The sun was beginning to set, so, there was less likely for there to be people in the harbour. Once I arrive at the harbour, I survey all the boats. I choose a small boat with a toilet and a sofa that changes into a single bed. I unbutton the protective layer of the button before throwing the front rope onto the boat after undoing it then doing the back of the boat. I climb onto the boat and look around. I could feel the boat drift before I hotwire the boat into moving. I ease forward and drive away from the harbour at full speed.

*5 Days Later*

Goddamn fucking rope. I parked the boat well enough but I can't tie it up. "Нужна помощь?" A man said and I nod before throwing down the rope from the rear end of the boat towards him. He catches it and ties it up for me before doing the front end of the boat.

"Спасибо." I murmur before climbing down and walking away.

"Why did you take the boat?" The man asks from behind me, suddenly in English, and I turn around, frowning.

"Pardon?"

"It's my boat." He states. "It has been missing for 5 days. Why did you take it?"

"I escaped from a kidnapping and the only way out of Egvekinot is by air or water," I say, bluntly before turning around.

"If you were kidnapped, why didn't you go to the authorities in Egvekinot?" He questions.

"Because I'm not Russian," I answer. "I need to go to Moscow to get to my embassy." Total lie about the embassy but who cares?

"You're traveling from Anadyr to Moscow?" He asks and I shrug before walking away. I hear his feet after me and disappear into the crowd as I turn a corner. In an hour, I'm in the airport buying a one-way ticket to Moscow for 39500₽. Thank god, I thought to check for more money. My flight leaves in 1 hour. I empty out most things from my backpack into the bin aside from the airline ticket, money and the fake passports that I put in a secret pocket in my jacket. I had a Russian, Swiss and Canadian passport. I get out the Russian passport and read it. Ulyana Chaykovsky. I produce my airline ticket and passport for the customs guard before moving swiftly through luggage control. Mostly because I didn't have anything in my bag. I make my way to the terminal and sit down in a seat in the corner. Against the wall but in view of everyone and all the exits. This is going to be a long day.
