"If you ever make me sit through another convention again." I grumble as Dean parks the car by a lakeside.

"Hey, at least there was actually a case there." I roll my eyes at Dean but don't disagree with them. "Anyway, you K.O that woman when she got up in your grill." I smile slightly.

"Yeah, I did, didn't I?"

"Which is terrible." Sam says pointedly.

"Right, yeah. Terrible." Dean agrees with sarcasm.

"You shouldn't encourage her, Dean."

"I'm not." Dean insists. "I just think she has a right to protect herself." Dean phone rings and he gets out the car to answer it while I give Sam a smug smile.

"Smugness is an unattractive quality, Ash." Sam points out.

"And?" I retort with a raised eyebrow.

"Why do I bother?" Sam groans as he gets out the car and I giggle before getting out as well.

"Going down?" Dean says into the phone. "Right. Okay, Huggy Bear, just don't lose him." A few moments pass before Dean says, "That's okay, you did great. We'll take it from here." Dean hangs up the phone. "Let's get on the road."

~That night~

Sam stabs one demon through the neck and stabs the other demon too. "Nice work, Jo." Dean compliments.

"Thanks." Jo thanks before Dean hangs Jo the bag with the wire cutters in. "Okay. Shall we?"

Dean, Sam and I sneak into the mansion. Jo was concentrating on cutting the power from our signal. I start to paint the Devil's trap on the underside of the rug before flipping it over. I give Sam and Dean the thumbs up, and they send a text to Jo. It wasn't long before the power went off. Show time. A middle-aged with dark hair and light skin wearing a very expensive looking suit. "It's Crowley, right?"

"So. The Hardy Boys found me. Along with your sister. Took you three long enough." I take out my flask and stand rigidly next to Dean. Crowley starts to approach us but stops before the rug. He looks underneath and looks slightly annoyed. "Do you have any idea how much this rug costs?" I'm suddenly disarmed from behind as is Dean and Sam. Two men pin Sam and Dean's arms and the guy pinning Dean's arms gives me a look of 'I dare you to tried something then I get to kill you'. I stay put. "This is it, right?" Crowley shows us, what I presume, is the Colt. "This is what it's all about." Crowley aims the gun at Dean before suddenly firing at the two demons behind us. "We need to talk. Privately." Crowley leads us into a room.

"What the hell is this?" Dad asks with well concealed anger if you didn't know him, you wouldn't know.

"Do you know how deep I could have buried this thing?" Crowley waves his hand and the door slams shut. "There's no reason you or anyone should know this even exists, except that I told you."

"You told us." I repeat in disbelief.

"Rumors, innuendo, sent out on the grapevine." Crowley replies.

"Why?" Sam questions. "Why tell us anything?" Crowley aims the gun at Dean again.

"I want you to take this thing to Lucifer and empty it into his face." Crowley answers.

"Uh-huh, okay, and why exactly would you want the devil dead?" Dean retorts.

"It's called-" Crowley pauses momentarily as he puts down the gun. "Survival. Well, I forgot you three at best are functioning morons-" He muses.
