Chapter 19 (What's the Plan?)

DALTON'S POV

It was perfect timing actually. I had just thrown away my quesadilla wrapper and picked up the to-order (A burrito for Will and a quesadilla for Ellie) when I saw Will's yellow Bug pull up into the parking lot.

I ran outside and gave him a big hug.

"Will buddy I've missed you so much."

"I've missed you too Salty."

"Still remember our hand shake?"

Will nodded but stood awkward silent for a moment.

"I promise I won't hit you in the balls again dude." I laughed while saying it.

"Okay fine. Last time we did this I blacked out." We completed the handshake.

"Oh by the way, I got you a burrito!" I said as I picked the bag up from the side walk.

"Amazing! Now should we get back to your special lady friend?"

I laughed and I could feel myself blushing. "Yeah. Let's go."

"Sweet Cinnamon Roles! I Can't wait to meet her!"

"Then let's get going." We got in the car.

"Where to Mr. Rapattoni?"

I put the address into his phone so his GPS would lead us there. 

"So let me get this straight." He started "Ellie moved next door to you. She friend zoned you because she was in love with some guy from Montana. You wanted to make her happy so you brought her here to see him, but when you got here he was an acting like a 5 year old container of nutella and cheated on her. She was upset, and somewhere you two started dating? And what about they car what happened there?"

"I'm not even sure. We went to sleep last night and Ellie woke me up this morning saying the car was gone. I went out with her to check again and it still wasn't there. I had the slightest idea that Alex took it, but it wasn't at his house. Ellie's phone and wallet are in there, my phone charger, and of course my keys."

"What do your parents think of the situation? Are they trying to find your car?"

"Are you kidding Will? You haven't been gone that long have you? If I tell my parents about his they will think it was my fault. They will take away my car and I'll be grounded forever. Also I barely convinced Ellie's parents that she would be safe. If they find out, I'll never be able to see her again."

"Well. Sounds like it's time to get this girl of yours. Then we go on a search for your car."

"Will your the best."

"I know."
