"Why haven't you been answering...." I started and there stood a furious Carlos ready to explode.

"Are you expecting a visitor because I just sent Lacy and Aliana back home" he said calmly but furiously. "So where did you go for this so called business trip"

"Somewhere in California I forget what the name of the town is called" I said scared.

"Oh that's great, wonderful actually but why did you call Lacy and Aliana to come over"

I didn't know what to say, would he catch me in my lies, would he not notice well what's the worst he can do yell "because I wanted to surprise you when..."

" cut the shit Lena " he cut me off "I know that if you wanted to surprise me you would have candles all over the place wearing a sexy bra and a thong just waiting for me to eat you up"

It's true, if I really wanted to surprise him that's exactly what I would have done. I feel like nothing I can say or do could calm him down right now so I stayed quiet not knowing the right words to say. I want to just run away from the stare that he is giving me. I guarantee if I were a boy right now I would have been knocked unconscious on the floor before I even had the chance to blink.

"Carlos at least I fucking called you and didn't leave you a bullshit letter saying 'went out with the guys tonight' you can be such a selfish asshole sometimes like seriously you can leave with your buddies without telling me yet I can't leave for a business trip to earn money to put food on the table we eat on" I screamed getting up from the couch.

"You know what babe if I'm such a selfish asshole sometimes then why am I still here why haven't I gotten the divorce papers to sign yet huh?" He said calmly.

"We'll maybe I should get that to be arranged" I said passing by him.

"Excuse me!" he yelled grabbing my arm. "but where do you think your going you just got back and now your leaving again we need to talk about this."

"Talk about what I'm leaving and that's final don't expect me back on the morning and and if I am consider yourself lucky but I highly doubt I will be back"

"You are such a bitch" he mumbles to himself.

He let go of my arm and I slapped him actors the face as he held the part a slapped "I know I am"

Then I walked out and slammed the door behind me.

I cant believe he just said that stuff to me. My head is pounding from all the anger rushing through me right now I can't even think straight right now. I just need a place to hide and keep to my self. Somewhere I won't be blamed somewhere I could cry in my own privacy somewhere that I feel safe, but right now I don't exactly know where that spot is right now.

As I walked outside Lacy and Aliana were outside still waiting for me. I was surprised they didn't leave but I'm glad they didn't. Maybe they can be the comfort that I need.

"Hey Lena Carlos looked furious what happened" Aliana said.

I didn't say anything I just bowed my head down and began to cry but I didn't know exactly why.

"Come here" Lacy said holding her arms out "let's go to my house Zach already left for work and is working the night shift we can talk about it there" I nodded and proceeded into Alaina's car.

The car was silent as I looked out the window sniffling every five seconds and taking deep breaths. I couldn't calm down for my life but maybe talking about it would help. As soon as we got to Lacy's house we stepped inside and sat around the kitchen table and ate cheese and crackers
