"Why couldn't it be 'follow the butterflies'?!" - Ron Weasley
-------------------------------------------------------
After that Father didn't speak to me for days. At night I'd quietly tiptoe to his room and fall asleep there. Usually I managed to wake up before he did and leave, but this time, I didn't.
"What are you doing in my bed."
I let out a yawn put on the most innocent face I could muster. "Sleeping." I closed my eyes again and felt myself being lifted. Seconds later, I was placed on my own bed and the door closed behind him. I sighed. I rolled over and went back to sleep.
I woke up with a thud. I groaned, lying on the ground. I looked up to see a smirking Draco Malfoy. I rubbed my eyes to make sure I was seeing correctly. Then I screamed. A hand was slapped over my mouth. "Shut up! My father and Professor Snape are having a meeting downstairs!"
"Who the bloody hell let you in my room!" I continued to yell as I removed his hand.
"Shut up!" He threw a pillow at my face. I frowned and grabbed my pillow and blanket, making my way over to the closet and slamming it. Curling up in a ball, I tried to go back to sleep. Seconds later the closet door opened. "Are you for real?"
"If you want to be in my room so badly then I'll take the closet. Go away." He stared at me in disbelief before smirking. I looked up at him in confusion.
"Are you giving me permission to go through your stuff?"
"What? No! Don't touch my stuff." I leapt to my feet to stop him but he shoved me backwards and slammed the closet door shut, barricading it from the other side. I slammed my whole weight into it multiple times but it wouldn't budge. I sat back down, curling myself into the fetal position. Who knew how long their meeting would be. I started whimpering when I thought I heard shuffling in the closet. Was it a mouse? Or worse, a spider? I hit the door. "Draco, let me out!"
"No." I began to cry. I heard laughing from the other side. "Scared, Potter?"
"Yes!" I screamed. "Let me out! Or I'll tell Professor Snape!"
"Hmm, let me think. Threatening me, are you? Maybe the spiders will have eaten you by then." I sobbed loudly. "You really should learn to say please, Potter."
"Please." I whispered.
"I don't know. You were quite rude the other day. Maybe this'll teach you a lesson." He was clearly enjoying himself. I swear I saw something crawl on the ground. This freaked me out even more.
"Please Draco, let me out! I'm sorry." I sobbed, full on crying. I heard footsteps. And the door opened. I immediately grabbed my blanket and leapt onto my bed, burying myself under the sheets. I felt a weight on the bed.
"Didn't know you were afraid of spiders." I peeked out for under to see Draco smirking and holding one in his palm. I squealed and toppled off the bed for the second time today.
"Get rid of it!"
"Make me." He repeated my words that day.
"Please." He frowned and tossed it out the window. I sighed in relief and climbed back into bed. I pulled the blanket over myself and tried to ignore him. He nudged me.
