"Of all the trees that we could've hit, we had to get one that hits back." - Ron Weasley

"You were seen by no less than seven muggles." Father sneered. What was he saying? "Do you have any idea how bad this is?" I saw Harry and Ron shoot each other sheepish glances. I frowned. What did they do now? "You have risked the exposure of our world." Father continued. "Not to mention the damage you inflicted on the whomping willow which has been on the grounds since before you were born!"
"Honestly Professor, I think it did more damage to us." My eyes widened.
"Idiot!" I hissed.
"Silence!" I jumped several inches in the air at his tone. He spun around and saw me peeking behind the door. Father immediately made his way over to me and roughly grabbed me by the arm, dragging me into his office.
"Oi! Let her go!" Harry yelled in anger.
"Shut up!" Father hissed, pushing me into the big chair behind his desk and moving in front of me. "Stay." He hissed. I nodded while Ron scoffed.
"She isn't a dog." Father narrowed his eyes.
"She is also not a brainless idiot that flew through muggle London in a car!" My eyes widened.
"But why?"
"Look Cindy, the barrier wouldn't let us through, we had no choice-"
"Silence!" He hissed at me. My eyes widened and I nodded in fear. He turned back to Harry and Ron.
"I assure you, that were you in Slytherin, and your fate rested with me, the both of you would be on the train home-tonight!"
"They are not!" I immediately looked in the direction of that voice. In the doorway stood Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall. I had never seen Professor Mcgonagall look so stern.
"Professor Dumbledore. Professor McGonagall." We chanted in unison.
"I assume Cindy is not involved in this?" Father nodded gruffly. "However, as the boys are in Gryffindor, it rests with Professor McGonagall to decide their punishment.
"We'll go get our stuff then." Ron sighed dejectedly. Professor McGonagall raised an eyebrow at him.
"What are you talking about, Mr. Weasley?"
"You're expelling us, aren't you?" Ron said dejectedly.
"Not today, Mr. Weasley." Ron and Harry instantly shared looks of delight. "But I must impose on both of you the seriousness of this matter. I will be writing to both of your families, tonight, and you will both receive detention." Ron looked horrified at this.
"Now that that's settled, Professor McGonagall, if you'd escort these boys back to the Gryffindor common room, I will be returning to the feast. We will leave Cindy in your capable hands, Professor Snape." Harry looked ready to protest but was silenced by one look from Father. I watched them exit father's office and I turned my gaze to him.
"I see you haven't gotten rid of your habit of following me." I grinned.
"I was just wondering why you left the feast." He sighed.
"That brother of yours-"
"Not to point fingers, but I'm pretty sure it was Ron's idea." I giggled.
"They've flouted the decree of use of underage magic!" I placed a hand on his shoulder trying to calm him down.
"I know, they panicked. The barrier wouldn't let them through and-"
