"I'M -- A -- FRIEND -- OF -- HARRY'S -- FROM -- SCHOOL --" - Ron Weasley

"You'll write me, won't you?" Luna and I sat on the Hogwarts express.

"Of course! I'll tell you about all the nargles at home that fly around." I grinned. We both sat in silence for awhile before she spoke again.

"You look better."

"I feel better too." I sighed. "Two months away from Hogwarts though. Not that I don't like it, but I won't see you and Harry."

"You should go spend some time with him now."

"But you don't want to come with me." I protested.

"I'll be fine." Luna smiled at me. "Go on." I hesitated.

"I'll be back."

"Okay." Luna yawned. "I think I'll get some rest." I waved at her and left the compartment. I walked down the corridors to search for Harry. As I peered into each compartment (and receiving some glares from people), I noticed Draco Malfoy sitting alone in one. I hesitated before sliding the door open a bit.

"Why are you alone here? Where're Crabbe and Goyle? And Pansy?" Draco looked up with a surprised look.

"Why are you here?"

"I was...looking for Harry and I wondered why you were alone."

"Potter, Weasley, and Granger are two compartments down." He gestured with his hand.

"You didn't answer my question." I pointed out. He rolled his eyes.

"I wanted to get away from those three for a bit." I stepped into the compartment, sliding the door closed behind me.

"Can I join you?" He raised his eyebrows at me.

"Thought you were looking for Potter?"

"I'll leave, in a bit." I sat down next to him. "So..." I started. "If you call Harry, Potter, what does that make me?"

"Not sure."

"My name is Cindy."

"I know that." He sneered at me.

"If you know my name, then use it." I retorted. He ignored me, so I changed the subject. "What are you doing this summer?"

"Relax, and listen to Father talk about how Mudb-" I glared at him. "-how GRANGER beats me in everything." He muttered. I patted his shoulder.

"Hermione is very smart, head of our year. But your father shouldn't do that. There are more important things than cleverness or blood status, so you mustn't feel bad if she does better." He glanced at me.

"How's Professor Snape at home?"

I thought about it. "Well...er he's kind of like he usually is, but nicer?"

"Does he ever get mad at you?"

"Depends what I've done. He will threaten me with a stick, the muggle way, if I act out of line. But he doesn't scare me much." I giggled.

"Are you lonely during the summer?"

I frowned. "Luna writes me, and so do Ron, Harry, and Hermione. Sometimes, I may get to visit Harry." As an afterthought I added: "Do you ever feel lonely?"

He looked surprised at the question. "I never really thought much about it. Well, there's a lot to do around the manor, but sometimes I do."

"Do Crabbe and Goyle write you?"
