"Okay so this is the room you will be staying in. My room is right across the hall if you need anything. The bathroom is two doors that way. You are welcome to stay as long as you want I really don't mind. But if you don't mind I need to shower and get my things ready for school." He says smiling.
"What school do you go too?" I ask him.
"Westwood High. What about you?" He asks.
"Same." I tell him. He smiles.
"But I haven't seen you around. I've seen your siblings but not you." He says.
"That's because I've been gone for a year and before that I was homeschooled for a year and a half. I only came to school for four months out of those two an a half years." I tell him with a shrug.
"Oh. Well that explains a lot." He says.
"Go shower you stink." I say jokingly.
"I will do just that. When I get out I'll give you some clothes to sleep in then you can have the shower." He says ad walks away.
"Thanks." I tell him smiling. I go into my room and look around. I notice it's been untouched. I put my bags from the mall down on my bed and take out the things I need right now. After that I sit on my bed and play on my phone.
About fifteen minutes later I hear a knock on my door.
"It's open." I say putting my phone on the table.
"Here you go. There are shorts and sweats and a shirt. The bathroom is all yours." He says handing me a stack of clothes.
"Thank you. And Aiden are you looking for a roommate?" I ask him out of curiosity.
"I was going to bout an ad in the paper. I need one so I can pay for rent. Why?" He asks.
"Do you mind if I move in with you?" I ask him. He looks at me shocked.
"Why would you want to do that? You have a family." He says.
"I honestly don't want to be around that 'family' right now. So can I? I will help buy food and things, and I will help pay rent. Please?" I ask him.
"Sure." He says with a smile. I jump off the bed and hug him.
"Thank you so much." I say letting go of him. He chuckles.
"You're welcome. Now I'm going to go I to my room. If you need anything just come over." He says walking out the door. I follow him and go into the bathroom.
After a twenty minute long shower I get out and dry myself off. I slip on my clothes and walk out of the bathroom. Going into my room I grab my phone and text mom that we need to talk. She told me that she will be home after school tomorrow we can talk then. Also that she's not to happy with me about what happened at school and what I did to Xavier. I just told her to be prepared to be madder at me. She asked why and I told her she'll find out tomorrow an turned my phone off.
I laid in the bed and stared at the ceiling. I have no clue how I'm telling mom that I am moving in with a stranger after I've only really been home for one day. Dad and I still haven't talked and I feel guilty about that. So I called him and told him that I was fine. That I love and miss him. And we talked about how my year was and I explained every last detail to him. He told me he was very proud of me and that he wants to talk in person. I agreed with him ad told him we can go out to dinner soon. After an hour and a half of talking we finally hung up and I closed my eyes almost asleep until there was a knock at my door.
"Hey Brooke are you hungry? I made some food." I groaned an rolled over only to fall off the bed with a loud thud. I groaned and Aiden opened my door looking around. When he saw me on the floor he started laughing.
"That hurt." I groan rubbing my head because I hit it on the floor. He goes over and helps me up.
"Are you okay?" He asks.
"I will just have a headache and maybe a bruise in the morning. What time is it?" I ask.
"7:48." He says checking his watch.
"Wow it's earlier than I thought." I say rubbing my eyes ad yawning.
"Were you asleep?" He asks me. I look at him then at the bed that is all messed up.
"Nope. I have no clue what you're talking about." I say walking out the door.
"Brooke." He calls out at me.
"Huh?" I say turning to look at him.
"Kitchen is that way." He says pointing the opposite way then where I was going.
"I knew that I was just testing you to see if you knew that." I say walking past him to the kitchen.
"If you say so." He says right behind me.
"What's for dinner?" I ask him.
"Homemade pizza." He says giving me a slice of pepperoni pizza. "With stuffed crust." He adds. I take a bite and groan.
"This is amazing." I say taking another bite. He laughs and takes a bite of his own. We sit talking and eating for a while.
"So are you going to go to school tomorrow?" He asks me.
"It depends. Can I wear one of your shirts?" I ask him. He laughs and nods.
"Yes you can." He says.
"Good now I'm going to go to bed. It's been a rough day. Goodnight." I say walking back to my room.
"Goodnight Brooke." He calls after me. I smile and walk into my room. Going over to my bed I see my phone flashing signaling that I got a text. I open it and see I have ten as a matter of fact. I open the first one.
'I don't know what the hell your problem is but I want you home right now.' Xavier.
'Brooke please come home I'm worried about you. Don't do this to us again.' Kendall.
'Whats up sis. Just letting you know that when I see you next you'll get your little butt kicked. You are in so much trouble. Moms pissed. Dad's not even home. Xavier is pacing around the whole house. Kendall won't stop crying. And the boys well are being really protective right now. And me? Well I'm beyond pissed. Brooke you knocked our brother out. You yelled at us for no reason. And you seemed like you wanted to be anywhere but here. What is wrong with you?' Riley.
'Get.' Noah.
'Home.' John.
'Right.' Joshua.
'Now!' Ross.
'Fucking answer me!' Riley.
'Brooke I swear if you don't answer me you will be shit outta luck when I see you.' Also Riley.
'Thats it I'm done. Why don't you just leave again? It's not like you care anymore about us.' Riley. And that just broke me.
