Six months later:
Xavier's POV:
Six months. Brooke has been missing for six months. The police stopped looking for her. They searched everyday for four months. It's May 7 today. Exactly six months since she left.
"Zay? Are you okay?" Riley asks me. I look up and see him ad the others in the room.
"It's six months today." I say. We've all had it hard since she left but it's worse for me. Brooke and I were closer to each other then to the other two. And I let her down.
"She's going to come home. I promise." Kendall says hugging me. I start crying.
"Zay please." Riley says hugging me as well. I have to believe she's coming home.
Seven months:
It's been seven months and still no sign of Brooke or Spencer. It's summer break and I'm still trying to figure out where she may be.
"Do you want anything to eat?" Kendall asks walking into my room.
"I'm not hungry." I say going back to my laptop.
"You haven't eaten in three days. Just eat something. She won't want you to be sick when she comes home." She says.
"Fine." I say. She smiles and leaves the room probably getting food.
"The boys are here. Do you wanna go downstairs and watch a movie or something?" Se asks when she brings my food in.
"Sure." I say getting up.
"Shower first you stink." She says holding her nose. I laugh and head to the bathroom. After my shower I put on a pair of basketball shorts and a t-shirt. Going downstairs I see everyone sitting in the living room.
"What are we watching?" I ask. They all look up at me as smile.
"Bambi." Kendall says wit a smile. That's like her favorite movie ever. I don't know why I mean the mother dies. But either way I sit down and watch the movie.
Nine months:
Nine months. School is starting soon and I don't want to go. Brooke still isn't home and I've given up on looking for her. It hurt me just to give up like that but clearly she doesn't want to be found.
"Buy this you look good in it." Kendall says holding up a blue button up shirt. We are school clothes shopping with the others. It's miserable. I hate shopping.
"Put it in the cart." I say. She throws it in and goes on. I have no clue where Riley is or the others for that fact. Somehow I got stuck with Kendall. And she's throwing things in the cart for me to buy.
"Here's a red shirt. You like red so you're getting it." She says throwing it into the cart.
"Ken I have fifteen red shirts alone in this basket. No more." I say. She just looks at me and puts another red shirt in it. Se smiles and walks away.
"This one is nice." She says holding up a white button up.
"Last one." I tell her and go the the check out. She got me about fifty shirts in just one store. After paying I grab all of the bags and walk out. I see Riley and rush over to him.
"Where the hell have you been?" I say to him. He smiled when he sees all of the bags.
"Oh just walking around." He says with a smirk on his face. I see the others coming up behind him laughing.
"I'm so going to get you back." I say before walking away.
"Where are you going? We need to get shoe." Kendall says.
"I'm done shopping. I'm going to go eat." I say walking away.
"Fine boys let's go." I hear her say and then Riley start to whine. That's what he gets. I go into the food court and find a place to sit. Once I sit down I hear Joshua laughing and then the other three join him.
"Why are you here?" I ask them.
"We snuck away." John says sitting down.
"Poor Riley." Noah says plopping down in a seat.
"Yeah poor him." I say rolling my eyes.
"How much clothes did you get?" Ross asks.
"About sixty shirts from two different stores and about twenty jeans from one store." I say annoyed.
"Wanna leave?" Josh asks me.
"Yes. Yes I do." I say standing up. They each take a few of my bags and we start walking out. I sent a message to Riley saying we'll see him at home. He wasn't too happy about that.
We all got into my car and drive away. Can't wait to be home.
Ten months:
School sucks. It started about a month ago and I'm already done with it. It's our senior year. We are almost finished. We still haven't gotten anything from Brooke I still think she's coming home. I know she's coming home.
"Guess what!" Kendall says running over to us at the lunch table.
"What?" We all ask.
"I made a new friend but she's really shy." She says with a pout.
"Where is she?" Riley asks.
"She is right over there." Ken says pointing over to a girl walking over here.
"What is her name?" Josh asks.
"Heather." She says with a smile. I watch the girl and she stops walking and turns around. I see a guy running up to her and she hugs him.
"Who's that?" I ask.
"I'm not sure." Ken says with a shrug. She sits down and Heather turn back around with a smile on her face. She spots Ken and waves at her. Se waves back. Heather and the guy make their way over to us.
"Hey." He says hugging Ken.
"Hey. Who's this?" Ken asks.
"Oh sorry. This is Blake. My brother." She says smiling.
"Is this the group I've heard so much of?" He asks smiling.
"I don't know what's the name of the group you've heard so much of?" Ken asks.
"All I know is they say 'the quads.'" He says shrugging.
"Yeah that's us." Riley says. I look over at him and he's frowning at the table.
"But only three of you look alike. Where's the other one?" Heather asks. We all get quiet. I stand up and walk away. She will be back.
Twelve months:
Tomorrow is our eighteenth birthday and none of us are happy about it. We are still missing one if us. We can't have fun on our birthday without her. In two days it will be a year that she's been missing. And I'm not ready to face it. So Riley, Ken, and I plan on skipping our birthday tomorrow. Nothing that is given to us is worth it. We even told mom and dad and they understood.
"Zay come here!" Ken yells from the kitchen. I make my way to the kitchen to see her and Riley sitting at the counter with mom cooking and dad doing I don't know what.
"Huh?" I ask sitting down next to Riley.
"The boys want to take us out to eat tomorrow. You up for it?" She asks.
"Not without Brooke." I say getting a piece of bacon off of a plate.
"You can't close yourself off Xavier. She wouldn't want that. Please just try and have fun." She says.
"I'll say it one more time. Not without Brooke." I say getting up and leaving. I'm not leaving my room tomorrow. They can do whatever the hell they want but I'm waiting for my sister to come home.
