Xavier's POV:
Today is our birthday and it's not the same. We always woke up to Brooke's happy face. She was the one that woke us up. She was the light of the day. So I woke up this morning with a frown on my face. I didn't even go downstairs. Not until Ken came to my room saying mom and dad have a birthday gift for us. I was hesitant but I got out of bed and got dressed anyways. Might as well make them happy if I'm not.
"Zay hurry!" Ken yelled at my door.
"Ken I really don't want to go down there. So I'm going to take my time." I say pulling shirt after shirt out if my closet.
"Xavier whatever this special gift is made mom cry when we said we don't want anything so please don't be an ass and make her happy." She said.
"Why should she be happy if we aren't? Huh? At least she knows where her other halves are. Did you forget that we are missing on of ours?" I ask opening the door. I put on a black t-shirt.
"I'm glad you feel that way Xavier but this gift is more than a gift. I know where all of my family is." Mom said standing at the stairs. Riley was with Kendall and they were both just staring at me.
"If you know where your whole family is mom then please tell me where my older sister is?" I say and slam my door. I don't want that gift anyways.
Brooke please come home.
"Xavier open this door right now!" Kendall yells.
"If I do you are going to pull me downstairs for a present that I don't want. Not until Brooke comes home!" I yell back at her. It's quiet on the other side and I hear a gasp.
"Zay get out here now." Riley says. I open my door and see them staring at something.
"What did they get us a puppy, and it's just so special that I have to come out?" I say.
"No." Ken says shaking her head.
"Then what has you so shocked!" I yell.
"Maybe if you'll stop yelling at us and look you will know!" Both Riley and Kendall yell at me. Might as well look then.
"Fine but if this present is stupid and you did this just to get me out of my room I swear." I say finally walking out of my room. And I'm glad I did.
"Why are you arguing?" She asks.
"B-Brooke?" I ask.
"Happy birthday." She says smiling. I run over to her and hug her tightly. She just laughs and hugs me back.
"Don't ever do that to us again!" I yell at her.
"I'm sorry." She says letting go of me.
"I'm just happy you're back." I tell her.
"I told you I know where my whole family is." Mom says with a smile.
"You knew? Since when?" I ask looking at her.
"This morning. She showed up about an hour ago before any of you woke up. I hid her and woke Ken and Riley up but you wouldn't wake up. So we waited. I guess only Brooke can get you up." She says shrugging.
"Why did you leave us?" Ken asks. I turn around and see tears in her eyes.
"I needed to." She says.
"You were gone for a year Brooke." Riley says.
"Technically tomorrow will be a year so no I wasn't." She said with a smirk.
"Do the guys know you're home?" I ask her.
"No. And they aren't going to know unt-" but she gets cut off by the guys bursting into the front door laughing. They think this is their house.
