"What do you mean?" Mom asks.
"I'm moving out." I tell her.
"No you can't." She says. She starts crying.
"Mom I can't stay here with the other three. Me and them aren't getting along. Riley practically told me he doesn't want me here anymore so I'm moving out. I already have an apartment. I'm sorry but I promise that whenever I get settled in I'll come visit you guys. And dad I'm so sorry I haven't been able to spend time with you. Tomorrow we can have a date. Okay?" I tell him. He smiles and nods.
"I would love that." He sad hugging me.
"I need to go pack. When everyone gets home you can tell them I moved out. They might or might not see me at school. It just depends." I tell them walking upstairs.
"Brooke you have tons of clothes." Aiden says when I walk into my closet. He has three bags packed full of clothes only.
"Not enough." I tell him packing more clothes.
"How'd it go down there?" He asks zipping up bag number four.
"Better then I thought. Made mom cry but that's about it. Promised I would come visit when I got settled in. And me and dad are going on a date tomorrow night. Hopefully." I say packing the last bit of clothes in the closet.
"Hopefully?" He asks packing my shoes.
"Yeah. He works late and usually he can't get off of work. He's kinda in charge of all the surgeries so he has to be there." I say zipping my bag. "Keep the grey converse out." I say when he picks them up. He places them beside him and then continues packing.
"Well if you don't then we can go have dinner somewhere." He says standing up.
"Sure." I say with a smile.
"Okay what else?" He asks while we walk into the main room.
"I need my bed stuff minus the bed. I need my toiletries. My makeup, hair stuff, and the little clothes I have in my drawers. And jewelry. Then we should be done." I say looking around my room. I go into the bathroom and pack everything up in there. Then I come out an see my bed stripped from everything.
"Here is your bed things and the little bit in you drawers. It was very awkward packing your underwear. Just saying." He says handing me three bags. I laugh and go over to my bedside table and kneel down. Open the drawer in it I pull out all of my jewelry and put it on the bed.
"Okay one more thing. Bring that purse over there and follow me." I say walking into my closet. He does and follows me in.
"What are we doing in here?" He asks looking around my empty closet. I go over to the far wall and knock to find the hollow part. When I do I press it and it opens. "What's in there?" He asks backing away.
"My money and other very valuable things." I say pulling out stacks of money. There is at least ten thousand dollars in there.
"Where did you get all of this money?" He asks while I put it into the purse.
"I got it all when I ran away. I fought on the streets a lot. Won all of them and collected the money for winning." I say with a shrug. Then I get to the back of the secret safe and see something that means the world to me. It may not seem like it to you but it is to me. It's a picture of Xavier, Riley, Kendall, and I at the lake. It was the best day ever. We all had real smiles on our faces. It was a memory that I will always cherish.
"Okay. I'm ready." I say grabbing as many bags as possible. Which is five out if ten bags. He got the other ten and we walked downstairs.
"We are leaving now guys. I love you I'll see you soon." I say to them when we get to the front door. Mom was still crying but nodded anyways. I opened the door and started loading my car with my things. When we had everything loaded we were about to get in but got blocked in by my siblings.
"Get out of the way." I tell them.
"Are you leaving?" Xavier asks.
"Yes I am. Now please move." I tell him.
"They wouldn't let you leave like that." Riley says. He has a black eye from Aiden hitting him earlier.
"Yes they did. I've already talked to them. They understand. Now please leave before I call dad out here to make you leave because I really don't feel like fighting anyone."
"Brooke please don't leave us again." Xavier says.
"It's too late. When everything calms down and I get a proper apology from Riley then I will come visit. But until then. I'll see you guys at school." I say getting in the car and pulling out. I look at them and Xavier looks crushed. Me and him have always been closer to each other than the other two and I feel bad for leaving him.
"What are you thinking?" Aiden asks pulling me out of my thoughts.
"How much I will miss Xavier out if all of them." I say truthfully. Aiden smiles and looks out the window.
"Invite him over." He says after a few moments of silence.
"What?" I ask.
"Invite him over. Maybe stay for a while. It doesn't matter. But I can tell how much he loves you just by looking at his face when you left. He looked the most upset out of the three of them. I have a very comfortable couch if he want to stay for a few night." He says smiling at me.
"But it's your apartment. I don't want to invite people over to just stay." I tell him.
"Our apartment so yes you can." He corrects me.
"Oh yeah." I say and pull into our parking lot.
"I guess we are unpacking." He says getting out. I laugh and get out with him. We each get five bags to save an extra trip. We go to the elevator and go to the eighth floor to our apartment.
