TWO YEARS LATER:
"Xavier get back here!" I yell at him. He was running through the stores acting like a little kid. Aiden is by my side laughing the whole time.
"Brooke can we get this? Oh and this?" He kept asking over and over again. We finally just let him run, maybe he will tire himself out.
An hour later he finally calmed down, and is now acting his age and not two.
"So Brooke tomorrow is our twentieth birthday, are we going to see everyone?" Xavier asks when we get home. I haven't seen any of my family since I moved here with Aiden. Xavier goes once a month for a week. He's promised not to tell them where I was.
"I was thinking about it. Are Kendall and Riley still there or at college?" I ask him. We were in my room unpacking the bags that we got today at the mall.
"They stayed home. They both have a job, Kendall has a boyfriend, Riley is still a pain. But they both miss you very much." He tells me.
"Well since I didn't visit last birthday then I will go tomorrow, but Aiden is coming too." I tell him. Aiden and I are happily engaged. Our wedding is in six months.
"He is your fiancé so I can't tell you no." He says shrugging.
"Hey Xavier there is someone at the door for you." Aiden calls from the kitchen.
"You coming?" He asks as he stands up from the bed. I nod and we walk out.
"Hell no dude." I hear a males voice say then Aiden laugh.
"Who is it?" I whisper to Xavier.
"Oh you know the boys." He says and walks faster.
"The boys as in Noah, Joshua, John, and Ross?" I ask him. He nods and runs into the living room.
"Hey guys." Xavier says. I'm frozen in the hall. I haven't seen these four in two years, I've changed and I'm not prepared to see them. So I turn around and go back into my room. I sit on the bed and pull out a book.
Ten minutes and hundred pages later there is a knock at my door.
"What?" I ask not looking up from my book.
"Brooke they want to see you." Xavier says opening my door.
"How did they know?" I ask still not looking up.
"They saw us at the mall and followed us. They waited a few minutes before coming in. I swear I didn't tell them." He says. I finally look up and roll my eyes.
"I'm not dressed. My hair is a disaster. No." I tell him. I go back to my book but that is taken away from me an I'm thrown over a shoulder.
"Too bad." Xavier says and walks me down the hall. I'm kicking and screaming the entire time. I hear the boys laughter in the living room and start to panic.
"Xavier no. Let me go I'm not ready to see them!" I yell at him. The noise quiets down. Xavier put me down and I don't dare look towards the boys.
"Babe you okay?" Aiden asks from beside me. I turn just enough to hide my face from them in Aiden's chest.
"Brooke come on, just say hi." Xavier tells me. I shake my head.
"Brooke you okay?" Aiden asks again. I look up at him and shake my head.
"I'm not ready." I whisper to him.
"Brooke please look at us." I hear a voice say but I just shake my head.
