It's been a week since the sword fight. My arm has recovered but I'm still worried about Laurence. Aaron, Travis, and I went to the hospital to check on him.
We got to the entrance and found his room. Once we came in we saw Laurence doing some hip exercises. He seemed to be better but he had cat ears and a tail. Actually... Now that I think about it so do I. Hmmm... But the doctors said mine come off tomarrow.
Once he got out the exercise room he saw me and was delighted.
"Y/n!" he said giving me a hug of joy
"I'm so happy your ok" he said
I slowly backed away from the hug and said "Why are you glad I'm ok? I should be the one saying that!" I say teasing
"I'm so sorry... I thought I could help you get over the funeral but, as you could tell, many things went wrong" he said doughtful
"Sorry to break the moment but I need a word with y/n real quick" Travis said
"Oh ok" I say giving Laurence one last hug
We go into a far corner of the room as Travis looks around.
"Do you want the good or bad news first?" Travis asks
Bad news? Good news? Here goes nothing...
"Tell me the good news first" I answer
"Ok, good news is Laurence will be better in a few weeks" Travis says
"And the bad news?..." I ask worriedly
"Bad news is that.... You know the murderer?" Travis asks worried
"Yeah... He got arrested and-"
"He's escaped!" Travis says interrupting me
"What?!" I scream
Everyone in the room turns and faces us.
"Sorry" I say blushing of embarasment
Everyone turns back around. Oh how embarrassing! Travis and I talk more about the murdered but I'm left wondering a few things...
How did he escape? Why would he escape? And most of all... Who's he after next?...
