As soon as Duckie left the courtroom, Judge Saporta had carried things along. Dallon had hoped the two would be back soon because his paranoia was getting the best of him.
"Robert Harrison, you have the right to a speedy trial, you have a right to a jury, you may wish to avoid the adverse publicity associated with a public airing of the evidence. You have the right to a jury, if you choose not to have a trial, you will be trial-ed and prosecuted under a judge."
This went in for a while, and Dallon was getting really impatient, he wanted to know if they had enough evidence to pass to have a trial. Andie reassured him because it was beyond unreasonable doubt that Mr. Harrison was guilty and the rape kit and pictures have proved that.
"And, these pictures and files, Ms. Walsh, do you have them with you?" Judge Saporta calls out, grabbing Andie's attention, she stands up and lets out a stern yes, and grabs her manilla folder and walks towards the judge. He skims over the file, trying to keep a straight face and not flinch as he saw the young boy's scarred back and legs. He hands the files back to Andie. The lawyer walks back to the pew, sitting next to the officer.
"And are you aware of this information Mr. Wilson?" The man asks, an attorney from Mr. Harrison's side nods and rises.
"We are aware of these charges and we are scheduling to head there soon and take a look at that information." The man states, and sits back down after the judge dismisses.
"Now, Ms. Walsh, are you presenting additional information at the time of the trial to the jury, if Mr. Harrison wants one, am I correct?" Saporta asks, and Dallon perks his head up at this. What additional information? He was there for all the information Brendon had given Andie? When did this happen?
Andie, remembers it all too clearly, she had stated she was going to get Brendon something to eat so she took herself and the boy to what he thought was going to be "Chick-Fil-A" but it turned out to be the house, and Brendon immediately wanted out."No, no. Please don't make me go inside, I can't- I won't. He may be in there and he's going to beat me!" Brendon protests, holding onto the seat belt as tight as his small hands could. Andie groans, tossing her camera in her backpack and kneeling on the sidewalk, grabbing the boy's hand then placing it in hers.
"Please Brendon, I promise I will protect you, nobody will hurt you, I need evidence for the jury to see besides the kit and the pictures. I need your story. If we do this we'll win and then you can live happily ever after with your, boyfriend."
Brendon blushes and bites his lip hiding a smile. "He's not my boyfriend." He giggles out.
Andie smirks at that, "Oh, well, I think I should take him, only if... you don't go into that house."
With that Brendon unbuckles his seatbelt and crawls to the driver's side and lets himself out, saying a "Let's get going." Andie chuckles, she would never date Dallon because, she has a special lady at home.
They make it into the house, an eerie silence taking over the whole entire house, making Brendon shudder. The lawyer turns on her camera and places it on video, then she asks the boy a question.
"So, Brendon, can you tell me how your average day looked like with Mr. S?"
Brendon nods and turns to Andie, "Okay, first I woke up early with him and got dressed in a big shirt, I usually wouldn't wear underwear because he ordered it. And then I made him coffee and breakfast before he went to school."
Andie asks where the bedroom is and the boy shows her. He sees the white sheets stained with blood, exactly where they were left and he shudders at the repressed memory. "Whose blood is that, Brendon?" She asks and Brendon shakes his head.
