It had gotten colder now, it was sweater weather, and Brendon enjoyed this so much because of two things, he could cuddle with his boyfriend more often and he could wear his boyfriend's long sleeve shirts and his gigantic sweaters.
It had also been four months since He was sent to prison, three since Duckie had gotten shot in the leg rescuing hostages during a robbery at the city bank. Which was good for him, despite the injury, that gave him much needed time off to spend time with his boyfriend, Blaine. It was two months since Andie got married to her childhood sweetheart, Brenda, and since Dizzie was transferred to the Jeffersonian in New York. And it has been one month since He hung himself with a blanket in his cell.
The boy doesn't know how to feel about that, he feels relieved that he knows that Mr. Harrison is gone but at that same time, that man has raised him for 15 years, though sometimes those memories with him were traumatizing, he tried to remember the good ones.
He let's out a breathy sigh and looks at the man sitting next to him in the bay window. The sun is starting to set already but that's okay, Brendon can see Dallon's features clearly, and God, he's so breath-taking. A masterpiece. He wanted all of that. If only Dallon was the one who took Brendon's innocence, and not Mr. Harrison. He wishes he still had his virginity. Apparently he said this out loud because Dallon responds.
"Your innocence is still valid if you want it to be, Mr. Harrison doesn't count. You can wait for the right person to take it." Dallon explains and it makes Brendon feel so better, and he starts to think. Would Dallon want me?
"Could you be the one to take it?" Brendon asks, his bottom lip between his top and bottom teeth. He looks so beautiful like that. Dallon turns so he is leaning against the window and staring at his gorgeous boyfriend.
"It's up to you, if you really want it. You can take your time we don't have to do this right away but when we do, we'll take it slow. I'll let you tell me what to do." There it was, he had control, he could tell his partner what was right and what was wrong, that's was what he always needed. Dallon even said that they'd take it slow, that he'd go slow. That made him tear up.
"Brenny, why are you crying, honey?" Dallon asks, wiping a tear from his cheek.
"I love you so much." Brendon chokes out, and laughs through his tears. Dallon smiles and tears start to welt up in his eyes too.
"I love you too, Brenny." They seal this with a kiss.

It was getting close to the holidays now and the younger couldn't wait to get Dallon a gift and spend the day with all the new friends he had made over the year. Right now the couple were just walking through the park, Dallon's arm over the shorter's shoulder and his jacket hanging loosely around Brendon's shoulders. It was nice, there was a nice layer of snow that covered the ground and the sight of it brought so much joy. He hadn't seen snow in 15 years.
There was a memory in the back of the boy's mind in which he was playing in the snow with his parents. The sky was gray and gloomy, but the emotions were just the opposite, he could remember the smile on his mother's face when she tackled him into the snow, the joy and the laughs that radiated from both of his parents.
"What's got you smiling so much, baby?" Dallon whispered in his ear, sending chills down the younger's spine and causing him to lean into the taller.
"I just remembered the last time I was out in the snow, with my parents. Snow is a happy thing." Brendon laughed.
"Yea, you'll think like that for a while, but by February it get's kinda ridiculous. You'll be happy for spring." Dallon giggled, when the younger slipped away and returned with a handful of snow. "Don't you dare."
