Chapter 13

Kenny

"Well we're here!" Melvin said excited.

I look out the window in disbelief.

"Y'all said the bar."

"Well we meant the titty bar." Kevon said getting out of the truck.

We walked into the strip club and headed for a booth over in the corner.

"Want a dance handsome?" The stripper smiled.

"N-"

"Yes. Yes he does!" Kevon looked at me.

Kevon and Melvin left and the stripper started dancing and grinding on me.

45 Minutes Later

"Well here you go."

I handed the girl $600 and our eyes met.

"Nicole?"

"Oh my God Kenny long time no see! How have you been?" Nicole hugged me.

"I've been good. What about you?"

"I've been okay life just didn't turn out how I planned." Nicole sighed.

"I'm sure it'll get better."

Nicole and I sat down and started to catch up.

Kevon

"If the sky is the limit why can people go to outer space?"

"You mean like aliens?" Melvin asked.

"Naw fool like...astronauts!"

"Oh you know I could had been an astronaut." Melvin bragged.

"What stopped you?"

"I'm afraid of heights." Melvin said seriously.

" I don't know if you're drunk or high but you need help."

"Look our plan is working." Melvin stated.

I turned around to see Nicole and Kenny in a deep conversation.

"Perfect."

Kenny

"I'll call you Nicole."

"Okay I'll be waiting." Nicole hugged me then walked away.

"Y'all ready to go?"

Melvin and Kevon turn around smirking at me.

"Take those silly ass grins off your fast."

All of a sudden the club got quiet and all we heard was violins.

"Cash Money Records taking over for the '99 & the 2000's!" Juvenile yelled.

"It's about to get really wild in here now!" Melvin yelled running towards the stage.

I turn to face Kevon but he takes off running behind Melvin.
