Chapter 8

4 Months Later

Kenny

Everything has changed so fast. Toni is 6 months pregnant and is having a boy. I'm so excited but I have to downplay it around Janet and Danny.

"Kenny I need help!" Janet hollered from the kitchen.

Danny and Toni were coming over for dinner and Janet wanted everything to be perfect.

"Baby it's just Toni and Danny coming over. Why do we have to be so perfect?"

"Because tonight Toni and Danny are trusting to tell us the gender of the baby and its name!" Janet squealed.

"Oh yeah. I forgot."

Dinner

Toni and I kept glancing at each other during dinner but nothing noticeable.

"Okay well here's the great news. We wanted you guys to be the first to know that we're having a boy! And we're going to name him Bentley!" Danny yelled excited.

I looked up at Toni and winked my eye making her blush.

"Congrats you guys!" Janet yelled.

"Yeah congrats you two."

Janet

"Girl leave his trifling ass alone before your ass catch something."

I was watching  "Temptation" and was shocked at this girl choices. I've seen this movie a billion times and I still don't understand.

"Janet no girl my hormones are already everywhere I can't watch this." Toni whined.

"But it's almost over."

"Fine I'm going to make me a sandwich you want one?" Toni asked.

"Yeah."

Toni came back 5 minutes later with the nastiest looking sandwich known to existence.

"You know what I'm not really hungry anymore."

"Whatever girl I'm starving." Toni bit into the sandwich.

"Toni has Kenny been acting different to you?"

"Different like? I mean he has always been weird." Toni says chuckling.

"Different like....I know this is crazy but  being with another woman. He acts like we're just roommates sometimes. We haven't had sex in over 5 months."

"No he seems normal to me. He might just be a little stressed. This latest project is a handful." Toni patted my back.

"I hope so because if I ever find out that he's cheating on me I'll make sure that him and the bitch life is ruined!"

I look to see Toni staring at me shocked.

"Did you take your medicine today!" Toni finally broke the silence.

"Yeah. I took 6 of the 10 pills. I don't like how the other 4 makes me feels so I don't take them."

"But Janet that's not healthy you need to take your medication. Please Janet!" Toni begged.

"I will. I will. Just get off my back I got this under control."

"So how are you and Danny?"
