Chapter 15

Janet

"I'll go."

"Kenny from the day I saw you I fell in love with you but I always knew you wanted Toni. You were so nice and sweet so I thought I had hit the jackpot. I thought love would come eventually but it never did."

"You could had told me." Kenny spoke.

"No I couldn't so you could had ran off into the sunset with Toni! You must be crazy Kenny."

"I'm sorry for hurting you." Kenny said.

"Tell him the rest." Danny calmly spoke.

"There's more?" Toni asked shocked.

"A lot more." Danny replied.

"Well when we were in college I purposely stopped taking my birth control."

"You tried to trap me?" Kenny asked shocked.

"Yes and no. I wanted it to be a surprise so I would drop hints about us having kids and you would always brush the idea off. So I would get abortion after abortion."

"How many abortions have you gotten?" Toni asked.

"Including the one with Jessie....5."

"5! What the fuck do you mean five! You're trying to tell me you were pregnant 4 times by me?" Kenny yelled.

"Yes....and we would have them if you weren't so inconsiderate and selfish!"

"I can't believe this shit! So what about the miscarriages and stillborns?" Kenny questioned.

"My body couldn't handle the abuse I caused it from all those abortions. That's why I kept having miscarriages and stillborns."

"Janet I'm so sorry." Toni sincerely said.

"Yeah me too."

"Tell him the rest Janet." Danny spoke.

I took a deep breath and looked down at my fingers.

"They weren't yours Kenny."

"Come again." Kenny spoke.

"I was never pregnant by you. I was pregnant by Danny."

"You dirty, disrespectful, lying, can't keep a job, trifling fake ass motherfucker! You had me feeling bad about not having a child with you but you were having unprotected sex with Janet for over 8 years!" Toni yelled.

"You should had given me a child and a loving home Toni!" Danny barked back.

"Bullshit Danny! I didn't want my child to have an alcoholic, bad temper father!" Toni replied.

Danny

"Well I guess I'll go now."

"Danny what could you possible have to say?" Toni asked annoyed.

"Do you know what it's like to watch the person you love fall for someone else? Especially your cousin who you've always had to compete with!"

"No I don't!" Toni yelled.

"Well it's devastating. I was mad and angry so I started cheating on you but I wasn't satisfied. We had an argument I saw Janet and it just happened over and over again."

"So no one is better than the next in this situation." Kenny spoke.

"I have an idea." Toni spoke.

"What is it?"

"Janet and Ken can get a divorce so y'all can be together. Then me and him can be together." Toni replied.

"Sounds cool to me." Kenny chimed in.

"Y'all two think this a fucking game don't y'all?"

"Not at all." Kenny spoke.

"Then y'all two know for damn sure that idea is garbage."

"I just want to know who we buried. I mean I identified your body at the coroners office." Toni replied.

"Sweet heart I'm an ex-cop I have connections everywhere, and as you saw a pretty good actor."

"You're so fucking sick Danny!" Toni yelled.

"Yep but it's the way you made me be! It's your turn heartbreaker!"

Toni

"All I can say is a fell in love with Kenny. I tried to fight it but I couldn't."

Janet and Danny walked out the room heading into the living room to check on Bentley.

5 Hours Later

Kenny

I woke up to hear Toni screaming and yelling. I looked over and Danny was putting a rag over her mouth and nose. Toni suddenly passes out. Then he came to me I tried to fight but it was no use. I blacked out.

I opened my eyes to see Toni still asleep. I don't know how long I was sleep but I could tell it was morning now. I rubbed my eyes and realized my hands were free.

"Toni baby wake up!"

"Ken I'm awake." Toni groaned.

We hugged and kissed before heading out the bedroom. After 6 hours of searching and waiting we realized they were gone and they wasn't coming back.

"They took my baby!" Toni sobbed into my chest.

"Don't worry baby I promise we'll find Bentley."
