Chapter 23

Kenny

I dropped down to my knees and placed my left ear to Toni's stomach. Toni pulled me in closer while rubbing her hands through my hair. I kissed her stomach and and stood back up. I quickly ripped open her shirt. 

"Kenny that was my fav blouse!" Toni yelled while her buttons flew to the floor. "I'll buy you another one baby." I mumble into Toni's neck while picking her up. Toni wraps her legs around my waist and I carry her into our bedroom. 

CRASH!

"What was that?" Toni questioned running to the window and looking out. "Do you see anything?" I asked walking towards her. "No." Toni stated walking to her dresser and pulling out a shirt. 

I walked downstairs and saw our living room window glass everywhere. I picked up a brick with a letter around it. Before I could read it I heard glass in the kitchen shatter. 

"Ahh!" Toni screamed from the unexpected noise. "Baby its okay." I grabbed her tightly. 

I looked in the backyard and saw someone run across it. I quickly ran out the front door to be stopped by a dead raccoon on our doorstep. 

"Oh my!" Toni yelled into her hands. "Get in the truck!" I yelled while pulling Toni past the dead animal. "Kenny where are we going?" Toni asked nervous and confused. 

"I'm looking for something." I replied slowly driving through the neighborhood. 

All of a sudden a car zoomed out on the street up ahead. I quickly speeded up as I got really angry. 

"Baby hold on!" I yelled to Toni. "Okay Ken!" Toni replied back excited. "Why are so excited?" I asked confused by Toni's reaction. "Ken this is my first high speed chase!" Toni squealed like it was a rollercoaster. "You're weird but I love you so much." 

Danny

"I jumped back into the truck and quickly drove out the neighborhood, getting back on the highway. "Oh shit that's my song!" Janet squeals as she turns the radio up. 

"Y'all heard that new Ty Dolla $ign and Babyface!

"Damn it!" I yell noticing a truck speed up behind us. "What is it baby?" Janet ask turning down the music. "Its Kenny and Toni." I snarl at the mention of their names. 

We pull up to a red light. I look in the rearview window and see the truck coming fast as hell at us. 

"BRACE YOURSELF!" I yell to Janet as I hold her hand. I open my eye and don't see the truck behind us anymore. 

Toni 

"Kenny what the hell!" I scream in fear. Kenny drove up to the red light going 50 mph and then suddenly swerved over 2 lanes and stopped. "Sorry baby I didn't mean to scare you. I didn't want them to see us following them." Kenny quickly pecked my lips. 

"Them?" I asked dreading the names he could possibly call. "Janet and Danny." Kenny mumbled as he  put on his shades. "Uh I thought they would leave us alone." 

"After this they will I promise." Kenny replied pulling a gun from the backseat. "Kenny there has to be another way." I suggested while Kenny loaded the gun. "What? If you're talking about running then thats out of the question." Kenny says taking another gun out and loading it too. 

"Which one is mine?" I asked. "Uhh this one." Kenny takes my hand and makes a gun. "Kenny I'm very serious right now!" I pout while I cross my arms across my chest. "Baby I'm serious too. Do you know how to shoot a gun?" Kenny asked me laughing. 

Janet

"I don't see them." I tell Danny as I look around. "Look closely." Danny replies while getting on the interstate. "Where are we going?" I asked noticing that we were heading in the opposite direction of our house. "We're going to play a little game that's all. Now hurry up and put your seatbelt back on." Danny said speeding up. 

"Danny they won't fall for whatever you trying to do." I roll my eyes at his dumb plan. "Oh yea. You see that truck that's 7 cars back. Guess who the fuck it is?" Danny smirked. 

Danny pulled out his phone and quickly dialed a number. 

"Its time." Danny said before ending the call. Danny got off the interstate and turned the music back up.
