Chapter 14

Baby Riley is finally here! Ayesha was currently in the hospital, still in labor as Klay and I rushed over. I find Steph's family in the waiting room, his mom and dad, his brother Seth, and sister Sydel.
"Hey soon to be uncle and aunt, how you feeling?" I nudged Seth and Sydel.

"Excited!! I can't wait to be an auntie!" Sydel gushed, squeezing the breath out of me.

"I'm going to be a grandma!," Sonya now spoke, "I hope you two will provide me with some grandchildren too." I laughed as she eyed Seth and Sydel, who went red.

We all waited, as I found Klay who was sitting and scrolling through his phone, "Man its crazy that I'm actually nervous, but then realizing that one day this will be us." He looked up at me, putting his phone away.

"Well," I bite my lip, "Your the lucky one, you won't be screaming out your lungs and trying to push out an 8 pound baby."

"Mhmm I guess I am pretty lucky, all I have to do is sit back and enjoy making this 8 pound baby." He smirks causing me to smack him because I was completely red.

"Guys," We hear the soft voice of Steph, seeing him all covered up in the light green doctors outfit. Our eyes light up as we follow him into the room, me nearly fainting as I see Ayesha holding an angel.

"Meet Riley Elizabeth Curry." She smiles, showing us the cutie.

"Oh my god, she looks just like Steph!," As I say that, she opens an eye, showing off the green ones like her mom and dad.

We all take turns holding her, first Dell and Sonya, Seth and Sydel, then Klay and I. It was cute yet funny seeing how careful Klay was with her. Almost like he was afraid he might break her.

"Did it hurt? You know, pushing her out?" I sat with Ayesha as the guys all went to get food, while us girls stayed behind.

"I'll be honest girl, it did a little. But it's funny because once she's out, it's like you lost 20 pounds."

I giggle, "Interesting, so you guys going to have more?"

"Girl please I just had one!" She playfully snaps.

"Hey now, you never know though. I think Riley would like a sibling."

"Mhmm and what about you guys? I don't see a bump forming there." She points towards my stomach.

"Hey hey, we're waiting for our honeymoon ok," I slightly blush, "Just you wait, we'll have a little playmate for Riley."

"All right girl, I'll be waiting." We laugh, as I hug her goodbye since she needed to get some sleep.

A few weeks later

"Nah, that one makes you look like you're going to a club." Ayesha, My mom, my cousin, and Sydel were here to help me pick out wedding dresses.

"Ugh ok," I went back to change into a different one, which felt like the 100th.

I came back out, seeing their facial expressions changing, making me a little nervous.

"Hmmm," Sydel tapped her chin.

"Uh huh," My mom looked it up and down.

"I see," Ayesha and my mom said at the same time.

"What?" I did not like their looks, seeing my mom whispering to my cousin, as Ayesha and Sonya exchanged a few words.

"Well," Ayesha stood up and took a deep breath, "Klay is going to drool and probably faint when he sees you in this." Her smile was now from ear to ear, hearing everyone else giggle.

"Girl you nearly gave me a heart attack!," I playfully smacked her,"Thought this was a no."

"Hell no girl, it's gorgeous!" Sydel said from behind.

"Seriously Elena, like dam girl," My cousin Jackie giggled, "I mean you have the curves, the ankles, the arms, the but-"

"Ok I get it," I laugh, twirling a little as I check myself out in the mirror.

"Wow," Mama looked teary eyed, "I remember when you were only five, trying on my dresses and pretending to be getting married to your stuffed animals. Now look at you," She gave me a soft squeeze, trying not to cry.

"Mom stop," I sniffle, "I can't have you crying knowing papa will too."

"I know, but just wow. Now I need your brother to do the same," She laughs, "I know he'll find that perfect girl. But for now, let's just hold our breaths."

"At least his won't be so hard since all he needs is a tux." I sigh, "Let's just hope nothing goes wrong."

"Nothing will ok?", Ayesha came up from behind, "It's going to be your day, and it's going to be perfect. Everyone will love your dress, I know Klay will. You are going to be laughing, probably getting drunk, and the honeymoon, well I know I won't be there, but I can probably guess what will happen." She wiggles her eyebrows. 

"Yesh!," I was blushing like crazy, not only that but my mom was laughing!

"And how do you still look good after having a baby?" I really don't get how Ayesha bounced back so quick. I mean she's hot!

"Cause I'm not human that's why, jk, you know me. All about that healthy diet and exercising. Remember how I do my yoga classes? Well obviously they ain't for nothing.

"Mhmm, whatever." I laugh.

After I bought the dress, we all headed to Maria's Cakes, to try out some wedding cakes.

"Now this one here is a chocolate red velvet with a vanilla frosting," The lady handed us each a sample, Ayesha and I choking it down.

"I like it,"

"Me too," I told her, as we were handed a second one.

"Now this one is a chocolate moose with a dark chocolate and milk frosting." When I bit into it, all that hit me was sugar and milk. After awhile, we talked it out and decided to go with the red velvet one, knowing it's Klay's favorite. My mom and Jackie picked out the design, while the rest of us just sat around and talked.

"So do you guys want kids?" Sydel asked.

"Yea, we've talked about it a lot actually." I tell her.

"How many?," Ayesha asked, putting her phone away as she finished talking to Steph.

"I don't know to be honest, I mean I feel like four or five might be to much you know? But then again I really do love kids."

"True," Ayesha smiled, "I know for sure Riley won't be our only one. Do you have names?"

I smile, thinking about the names I haven't even told Klay about yet, "Well I know I told Klay something else, but I don't know, these names just sound so cute. For a girl, I like Noella Grace. Then for a boy, Grayson Alexander."

"Aww girl that's cute, but wait, what if you had twins?" Sydel asked, as Ayesha shook her head in agreement. 

"Wow that's pressuring, um two girls? Noella and Everly. Two boys?, Grayson and Ethan."

"Triplets?" Sydel continued.

"Oh my god girl," I sigh, now hoping she doesn't jinx it. 

"Well whatever you have, they are definitely going to have the best parents, and best godmother." Ayesha referred to herself, "And I know Riley and him or her will get along super well."

"Of course!," I laugh, "As long as they are healthy, I am happy with whatever, even triplets." I sigh, seeing a giggling Sydel.
