The Hidden Forest

I kicked a stone into the water and turned around. Linzy did the same and sighed "now what?" She asked.

"Well we might as well find a place to sleep." I shrugged. We walked further into the dangerous island. Maybe we would stay here and no one would find us. Who would come look for us. Would they come to this island or ignore it. What if we got killed by an animal. I quickly shook the thought off and hurried over to Linzy who was now heading to a tunnel.

She got on her knees so she was the same hight as the tunnel and began crawling in. Without hesitation I followed her in.

We soon reached the end of the wet tunnel. We were now on the other side of the island. We got up and started looking around.

I gasped when I saw a big wooden house. "That way" I said while running to the enormous house.

Linzy was breathing loudly on my shoulder when we arived at the house. I could understand why, we were now running for 10 minutes.

I was about to open the door when Linzy Grabbed my wrist. I turned to look at her "your not going to just walk in there right?" She asked while looking at the house. "Well.. We can't do anything else" I sighed and opened the door.

There were so many things going through my head. I told myself that if I went back out of this house I would die but what if I went into this house and I would die. I took one step into the house and Linzy followed my Actions.

Everything was fine until the door slammed shut. I could hear a little click and I wondered if it was the door locking or if it was the clock on the side of the wall.
Nope it wasn't the clock. It was the door.

Linzy screamed and ran to the door, banging on it with her fists.. I ran next to her and fiddled with the handle on the door while screaming "help! We're locked in here!"

Linzy gave up and burst into tears. I fell to the ground and cried as well. We both slowly got up and looked at the house. It was like any other house. There was a kitchen, a lounge, bedrooms, bathroom, study but there was one more room.

Linzy and I had finished looking around the house and found one more door. I grabbed the handle and pushed on the door but it wouldn't open.

"what's in there?" Linzy asked and sniffed from crying. "I don't know" I said unsure.

Linzy left for a moment which left me confused. She came back and handed me a hammer. "Where'd you get this" I asked her confused.

She just shrugged. I let it go but I knew I had to ask her about it later. I broke the handle and pushed on the door.

It opened and I screamed at the sight. There a man was hanging from the ceiling fan.
