Chapter 16

I smiled at Londie, waving and climbing into the car. We both had gotten ourselves a house and had said our goodbyes.

It was hard for Boe to leave because we had been here for a month since Dylan showed up. He tried to tell my parents I was alive but they didn't believe him.

I watched Boe walk out with a tear running down her cheek and falling onto her pale blue shirt.

I smiled at Boe as she hugged Londie and walked back to the car. She climbed into the back seat, pulling on her seat belt. "Ready baby?" I asked her.

She nodded and looked straight out of the window.

The house was beautiful. It had pale green walls and a big garden filled with exotic flowers.

By the time we got there we only had time to unpack our things and then went straight to bed.

The next day we finished getting dressed and had breakfast. "Mommy where is daddy?" Boe asked munching on her toast. "Daddy is bad My love" I said taking a sip of my water.

She Finished her toast and I took both of the place to the sink. I washed both of them and put them into the dish washer.

We both went to the park later that morning and stayed there until 7 pm.

When we got home Boe looked upset so I took her into bed and asked her what was wrong. "The boy I played with said I was weird" she said pouting and looking down at her arms. "He didn't like my hair and arms" she said running her fingers through her hair.

"Baby your not weird" I patted her back and hugged her tightly.

I kissed her on the head and I went back into my bedroom to shower and get into bed.

By the time I was done it was 11 and Boe was sitting on my bed. "I can't sleep" she said looking down "honey you can't-" I was cut off by loud banging on the front door.

"Open up Nicole!" I heard Dylan shout angrily. He must've been drinking.

I grabbed Boe and ran to the cupboard. I slid it open and put her inside.

This would be a bad situation since I had only my bra and pantie on.

I sat in with Boe and closed the cupboard door so I could just see out of it.

I was scared as I listened to Boe's soft cries. She held tightly onto my arm and a tear slipped from my eyes.

I couldn't believe it was happening again. I was petrified that he would take Boe away from me.

I heard a loud crash and realised the front door had slammed open.

I put my hand over Boe's mouth and waited for him to walk into the room.

I watched him walk inside angrily and looked around the room "Come on Nicole! Give me Boe!" He shouted smiling and looking around the room.

Then he started walking to the cupboard.

I'm sorry Boe

I said in my head. I was going to fight but I never knew if I would be able to keep him away for long.

He slammed the cupboard shut and Boe screamed holding onto my arm.

He smirked raping his hand around my neck and lifting me up. I dangled in the air as I tried to breath. My hand was over his, trying to pull it away from my neck.

He threw me into the wall, making me knock my head.

Blood dripped down my cheek as I watched him go back to the cupboard.

The only thing I tried to do was move and scream. But nothing came out. I couldn't move.

I watched him yank Boe out the Cupboard but she kept fighting. He slapped her cheek and then took the chance to pick her up.

He was walking past me when my eyes became heavy and my brain began pounding against the skull.

The last thing I screamed was "Ill find you Boe!"

And then everything was black and my body became numb.
