I spun around and started running towards the creaking staircase, forgetting about Linzy. She ran behind me with a confused look plastered all over her face.
I ran to the front door and started banging on it until it burst open.
I was about to run when a pair of arms gripped my waist and yanked me inside. I screamed louder and louder as the person shut the door. They spun me around and I realised it was Linzy "shut up" she hissed. "B-but we could of escaped!" I said, my voice going louder. "So we could escape to Where!?" She shouted "if we went out there we would've been killed and besides where would we even go?" I sighed. She had a point. We were in the middle of the river! How could I have been so stubborn?
"But now what I mean there is a dead person here. This place is creepy. What about going home. Home what about my Mom or my dad or my aunts or-" she quickly cut me off "okay chill! We have to go find a bedroom,lock the doors and windows and sleep until the morning and we will make a plan okay?"she said frustrated. I nodded slowly while following her up the stairs.
She guided me through different hallways until we reached a room.
The room had dark red walls and a king sized bed in the center of the room. "Do u think this is where they made love?" Linzy asked, forgetting about what we were meant to do. "Oh shush man!" I pushed past her and entered into the warm room.
She hurried over to me while laughing. She always knew if she talked about...whatever.. It would make me go nuts.
"So what if they recorded a video and-" I cut her off "lalalalallala" I was acting like a child right now but meh that's me.
I flopped down on the bed and slowly shut my eyes "and me?" Linzy asked still laughing slightly "meh, you can sleep on the floor" I lazily replied while moving my hand up and dropped it back down.
She jumped onto the bed with a flop, making me fall off of the soft blanket. "Help me get on the bed" I nagged holding my hands up. "Meh you can sleep on the floor" she said copying my actions. I groaned and sat down on the edge of the bed.
I started to think of how quick your life goes and you never realise it.
As I rambled to myself I started lying back and eventually I fell into a peaceful sleep.
